Chapter 2 -- The Sewers Go back to where the grates are. Down by the lower right bottom you will see something very familliar. Something that was attached Notice it? The large iron ball from the chain You will only see the top half of it. Perhaps -- you need to throw this through the grate. But how? The Captain can't lift it because it is far too heavy. --- Well have you learned how to whistle yet? The Captain needs to make a whistle inferno

Bonnie you will have to wait for a member that has played this game to assist you. I'm not familiar with it at all.

Chapter 2 --- The SewersOk bonnie I'm back --- Have you explored all of the rooms in the sewer? Quagmire is totally free now? In sewer 1, there is a room --- right before the "war room" There is something here of interest for the Captain. It's to the right of a painting Welcome to the first of many pixel hunts --- there is something there that the Captain can whittle into a fine whistle. inferno

Stuck again already. I'm playing the chapter (3) with Darkmere and can't progress. There are no more characters left to talk to at the point I'm at. Abattoir, Stables, and Society Hall are locked. There's also the "Dead End" and "?????" left on list of places in notebook. The victims I've encountered are the one at very beginning, the one at stables, the blind beggar and the pie lady I have various things from victims in inventory glasses, cork, hat, inn key, cane, chain, orb, leather purse and apron, hay, etc Is there anything to find in the Inn? Am I supposed to be trying to "open" the dead end yet? What am I missing? Thanks for any help.

Bonnie try to revisit all locations and examine your inventory. You should be able to open any locked door the way we normally do in adventure games. No I haven't played the game, these are suggestions sent to me. Good luck

Pre Game Hints Did you take a long hard look at the manual? How about the one on the DVD itself? What do we know about Captain Briggs and for that part most men we meet? (sorry guys, no offense) Have you listened carefully to what he says? And what his reactions are? Remember that you are What do you want him to do with the cage and the crunchie - ukie critter inside of it? inferno

Pre Game Hints The Manual is a .pdf file on the DVD. It is not the readme file. Copy it to your hard drive and Read it carefully. Sometimes, even big strong men will jump onto the nearest chair when they are alone in a room with something they are uncomfortable with.... say a spider ... a mouse .... or something scwaking in a cage made of crow bones. --- okokokokok another hint --- When I was a child, a had a horrible fear of birds. My mother loved them though, and we had a cage full of canaries in our music room. The only way I would even consider entering the music room was if my mother did something to the cage to calm the birds --- what did she do? think --- you know this answer, Dyl'smom and emptyhead, I know you do. inferno

Hi Inferno, I'm not playing the LOTL game, but I believe I can answer your question. If it will help the other players the answer is I hope you don't mind my being a buttinsky
