I think I've tried everything on the locked doors to open them, but nothing works. Nothing in my inventory can be combined and there's no one left to talk to at any of the shops.

I would direct the Captain to revisit each of the places again --
It sounds as though the places you mentioned that you wish to get into are locked
That is what you still need to find. You asked me earlier if was important... What do normally have that's dark and dreary and damp? Let's see scoundrels, scaliwags and smugglers ... What would you want to have at if you were one of these lost souls?

I know that you have --- that wasn't what I was refering to. You still need to access the other places --- and you already have You've told me that you have gone everywhere you could. Quagmire said that he was going there Oh you and the Captain have been in there already ... but one must learn to think as deviously as you can in order to find the access that you are searching for in there.

Notice how your cursor changes while the Captain moves or exits from a building or area.

Hi,back in the game and stuck again in front at the first air vent. Quagmire says:"the opposite of six with three" Right or left? Have to count the reverse button or not? I'm trying millions of combinations but I can't open that grate...

I think I accidentally found the combination of the buttons and I did something like I can't remember what it looks like exactly, but maybe this helps.

So I'm still in the sewers, opened pump valve and thats about it so far. Met the worry wart. Any ideas?

if those two things are all you have discovered, you need to direct the Captain to search much more. Tell me what new items you now have (under spoilers, please)since you began this level.
