Hi Dyl's Mom,
I guess I'm slow, because I can't seem to make grog.
Click to reveal..
I have water and snot now and have given the prisoner's arm to Cranny and she added it to the pot, but she won't let me add anything else and I can't get close to the caldron.
Can you help me?

Thanks Dyl's Mom.....hmmmmm think
I feel your frustration...I'll try to catch up. HA, well I'll try anyway.

Got it, Thanks for your help! And Thanks also to Mad....I found and read the manual. I am now in the Keeper's place trying to figure out how to proceed. Looks like I need a square key of some sort, or to locate another area to search.

Dyl'smom you will have to be patient. There don't seem to be a lot of people playing this game right now.
Someone will help ya'll when they can.

Chapter 2 --- The Sewers
Hi Dylan's mom

You are still missing some items from
Click to reveal..
the sewers
Think -- Think --- Think.

If you read the manual on the DVD (it's a PDF File) it tells you how to work your inventory completely. What would happen if you tried to
Click to reveal..
right click on some of your items
to bring up the
Click to reveal..
Ouija Board
and then choose the one of the main options ---

It isn't the lower left
or for that matter, the lower right.
Choose the correct one
and hold on tight.

Now examine this new object
Yes, that's what you should do...
For looking at it closer
Will give the Captain an important clue.

Is there someone here annoying?
Someone who's not so kind?
Who, soon as you try to talk with him
He tosses Briggs out you'll find!

Perhaps if you direct the Captain
to sneak up from behind
And reach into the inventory
and somehow make him blind.

Then in the room,
the Captain may search
to find things to free Quagmire
From his stolid perch.

How do you access the manual? Is it on the game CD? I don't see it as an option. If someone could point me, I'd read it. Thanks in advance. grin

Hi gaily smile

With the game disk in the drive, open Windows Explorer and right click on the drive, then opt for "Explore".

The game manual appears at the top of the list of files you will be shown.

Cheers.

Hi smile

My turn to be stuck !! lol

I have made it to the sewers and ....

Click to reveal..
Been given the dice, found the room with the 3 metal grates and got the jaw clamp from Quagmire.
[And I can change the purpose of the clamp if I'm willing to risk breaking Arach's nail.]

But I have found nothing else at all with which I can interact in any way.
Nor can I combine anything in inventory.
woozy

Is it possible for someone to give me a bit of a nudge, please help

Cheers.

Mad,

With what you have (or know) now, you can
Click to reveal..
get into the first gate

As inferno has reminded me multiple times, it is important to listen to the characters, I suggest saving before you talk to someone, since it is not repeated.

Emptyhead,

thanks but inferno had already nudged me, in very poetic style I might add!

Thanks for helping out everyone! I love the way that members help each other out with new games when there isn't a walkthrough.

This is absolutely wonderful!!! It's what computer gaming should be all about...adventurous spirit and community.
It's as though you are all part of the crew of the lost Mary Celeste --- assisting each other and the Captain. Keep paying it forward, Boomies! bravo

To everyone else who "signs on to the lost ship's crew" ---
reread this thread from the begining but be ye warned, me laddies and ladies, find what ye need but be wary of spoilers ahead... so keep a weathered eye out.

Sorry Texaslady...I apologize to all Boomers,I'm not so experienced about forums
Dyl'smom: I promise my replies next time will be more quick even if not so poetic as Inferno did! yes
Inferno praise: I absolutely agree with your opinion! Adventures have a better taste if solved without walkthrough

No apology is/was necessary emptyhead. It just helps us conserve bandwidth and is faster to read the answers.

Thanks for the praise --- but that isn't what I said. With regard to this particular adventure, I mentioned in a PM that "I" would not be writing one for this particular game.

I have written a number of walkthroughs for other games, and I have always appreciated those who do as well and I do advocate thier use. 'nuff said and I hope that will put and end to it. This forum is for hints and help only and not for game discussion.

I'm so very glad that all of you are enjoying the game wave
