Hi all, I'm stuck in the dungeon. Have given the cook the tequila and have in the inventory damp torch, cook book, empty snot bottle, human fat and note I have read both manuals, looked closely at everything, searched walls, and floors, nudge please. Edit: had a thought while cooking lunch, have now freed the prisioner and put the arm in the pot now off to find what to do next

Chapter 3 --- The Sewers WAAAAAAAAAAAA, I'm stuck again!! No,you're not. Remember that this is a game based on adventuring in the "classic style" you must truly think -- recall and deduce to help the Captain move forward. These puzzles are devious --- so you must be devious as well. Yes, a few of the hotspots are very tiny for some of the hidden items... but they are there if you know where to look. Now think --- what do you see outside ? There is something there now that wasn't there before. heavy isn't it? The Captain can't pick it up so obviously he needs help -- Someone offered him help by the way of her "pets" --- She told him how to call them, didn't she? Yes, you know what you need, but how to make it? Now, back in the 1860's what material would a sailor use to make one? What tool would he have to use as well? Think -- Think -- Think. The captain already has the "tool" -- where could he find the material? It would be very small --- probably a "sliver" -- perhaps from a corner or side of a small hidden shelf or table? Where did you see one in your travels in this level? ------------------------------------------------------------ Prologue --- The Lower DungeonHi all, I'm stuck in the dungeon. Have given the cook the tequila and have in the inventory damp torch, cook book, empty snot bottle, human fat and note Your on the right track --- but you are still missing something -- go back and check all areas again. Remember what your goal is here. Edd the Head asked you to do something fpr him. It looks to me that you are still missing a vessel with which to mix the brew. Remember also what the note said and who makes the original brew to begin with... and what you need to add to it. inferno

Dee have you read all the hints on this thread? Maybe someone else has already asked this question and it's been answered.

Dee, I think you should be good now (CYPM). We'll move the help over here instead of off the board so that in case others get stuck there also, they can find the answers. I'll keep up with you as best I can Dee. I am currently at work so it's a bit difficult. Ana

TRisha, I am not home so I have to go by memory but I believe you light the torch on the fire below the big kettle that Cranny is using If you are still stuck let me know and I'll try and jar and few more gray cells loose. Ana

Thanks Inferno, beginning to see how this game works now, I certainly didn't expect to use a skull for a container, ha, ha. I love the way Briggsy taps on my monitor screen when I'm thinking Have now moved onto the next chapter.

Are you getting a description that says large flame or high flame under the kettle? I thought that is where I lit the torch. Have you tried to put the worm in anything in your inventory?

Hi Trisha, Sorry you are stuck here is a nudge The torch is damp! You need to use something with it so it will be able to light! You should have this item already in your inventory as it is easily seen and collected near the room by Cranny! If you still can't find the way then post again but the torch only needs somthing used with it so as to be able to light it. Hope this helps. MOTRAU co-developer of Limbo.

Trisha, As I asked before have you been in the room with the rope and the hole, and you said yes, well its not the same room as the guy being held up, it is above him. In this game you will need to go back to places over and over, and you will need to try out all your inventory on all hotspots, as well as in combination. Dyl'smom
