Just a variation on some of the threads I've seen lately...

I'm not talking about mainstream game sites not liking the games. (Gamespot's and IGN's opinion doesn't count here.) I'm talking about games that seem to be disliked by most fellow adventure gamers.

Nor am I talking about games that a handful of gamers hated (every game has someone somewhere that doesn't like it), or games you didn't think were all that bad.

I want the ones you really got a kick out of playing (even if it was only to laugh at inappropriate times).

I rather enjoyed Dead Reefs and never understood any of the complaints about Paradise. I liked it a lot.

I liked Evidence (sequel to Missing) alot, most people hated it.

I'll have to add my name to those who enjoyed Conspiracies in fact I'm still wondering what the status on the sequel is.

Hmmm, time to google again.

Arthur's Knights 1 and 2. Loved both of them. Unfortunately, they both seem to hate Windows XP and faster processors.

Another one who enjoyed Conspiracies, and who's also wondering what's up with the sequel.

I also enjoyed Watchmaker, which a lot of people seemed to not like.

I also love both Arthur's Knights (Very much) and "The Moment of Silence". Keepsake? There are people that did not like Keepsake? I loved Keepsake. A Q.weekend in Capri was a favorite of mine that others hated,

I'd need some sort of list of "most hated games" before I could respond to this; I know what reviewers have hated, and my favorite game among that group is Temujin. But players? I don't know.

Perhaps someone should start a thread on that subject. I won't start a new thread, though. I'm not worthy.

The current "worst games" thread is a place to start. See what shows up a lot in there.

Those asking about Conspiracies II -- there are postings by the development team at the Adventure Europe Developers Conference 2007 here.

Ray -- you are worthy. Do you believe me? There's a way to prove it.

"Temujin" would get my vote for this.

Some of the games people are listing ("Black Dahlia" is an example) I would have said were generally highly rated. No one has admitted to liking something like "Adventure at the Chateau D'Or" say. Knowing which games most other Adventure gamers hated is not easy. Easier from something like the Twisty List to guess which ones most loved.

Simon the sorcerer 3d. Loved it, was wacky fun and not that hard cos of the action bits, the gfx were humerously low poly which was really low poly which was contradicting the other 3d games where they all were competing for most polys and looks where simon 3d took the oposite. I duno if its true but i like to think that the makers made it look [blip] on purpose.

Graphics aside, the game was fun, the story was interesting, the characters were fun to interact with. The ending was the cleverest ending in any game ever to complete the game.

Another vote for Dead Reefs - probly my favorite game this year!

I wouldn't say that Moment of Silence is a hated game, I've read many supportive posts regarding it quite recently. At any rate, it's one of my favourites.

I also had a great time with Carte Blanche, a game which made me laugh a whole lot. Not many fans here at GameBoomers, though, alas, alack. to you all!
