I need to find the lose iron bar from the grate..Where is it?
Also the keeper doesn't let me keep the saffron for free

Look close at the grate on the floor in front of the dogs.
As for getting the saffron, you get only one item at a time.
Click on the item you want and you will replace that with whatever you selected earlier.

Also is it un the middle or the right or the left of the floor grate...I checked everything...

Try the middle one I think Darleen. Don't worry about the pups, you'll meet the little darlin's soon enough.

MaG is right Darleen. You have to find the dogs, the grate is in the middle of the room and you need to get a close up of it.
It's referred to as a bar in my inventory.

recheck your inventory (use the arrow on the left at thetop and click to make sure that you see the entire inventory. You have something from the last level that you can use with Quaggie. It is small and sharp.
