Hi, I'm play the game Grim Fandango and I'm trying to find the secret room with the forklift. I can't get Manny back into the cab fast enough to pull forward. Is there a trick? I do have a walkthrough, actually two, can't find the way to stop the elevator. Any suggestions? I was told I could get a Saved Game but I don't know if I would know how to do that. Thanks.

I think the trick is to get the forklift as close to the button (right) so that you can get back up to the cab as fast as possible.

Have you installed the patch? On newer systems the game runs too fast for that particular puzzle and this patch will slow things down (among other things):
