Hi all,

If anyone can help with this, I'd be truly grateful........

I am in the Molgrave Village, at the nut machine. I weigh Ann, place the nuts on the machine, process two and a half of them and go to the elastic maker - but nothing happens. There is an "action" cursor over the lever, but it will not work. I cannot obtain the elastic rope.

I have replayed the Village section completely, twice over, trying to get past this point (once following the walkthrough step by step) without success.

I have installed the latest patch, checked my progress against a walkthrough (feels like cheating, doing that) and scoured both Google and the Ubisoft forums (where this game is attracting a lot of negative criticism for the large number of bugs it seems to have). It appears that this is a fairly common problem.

Can anyone suggest a solution, or provide a saved game, please?

Thanks in advance thanks

Reikdave try doing the nut cutting scene again please. You will not get the elastic if you have not cut the nuts correctly. This is not a bug or a glitch. The game people obviously wanted us to do more than just hack a nut in half. Be sure you've weighed Ann and are cutting the nuts as exactly as possible.
Exchanging saves in this game is not possible. Someone would have to take your entire game folder and play through this part of the game for you.

Hi texaslady.

I'll try again.

After some more research - here's the Ubisoft Paradise Forum's Game Saves thread - a bit technical to implement, but not impossible!

Sorted - it was a glitch.

Some installations of XP can have problems running programmes written in Lua, and therein lay the problem.

Now I'm playing without any issues.
