I cannot get passed the alter in the temple. I have checked every inch of the temple and done everything. When I get to the body, the eye icon does not go away on the left hand. Am I missing something there?

Yes, I have clicked on every hot spot in the temple, but the eye icon does not go away. Is there anything I have to do to the pin-pricked finger? I have tried everything in my inventory, but nothing seems to work. I have even gone back to a previous save to get back to where I was. Could it be a glitch? I'm at a loss here and can't go on. Did you look close at the passport with the blood drawing on the floor above you, close to the entrance of the warehouse? Also did you look close at the pin with blood up there?

I have a pin with blood in my inventory, is there another one? I also saw the passport with blood on it. It too is in inventory. I cannot figure out what it is I'm missing. I have gone back over and over. The only thing is the eye icon's on the left hand, and the one on the box with blood upstairs do not go away.

Did you look at the drawing on the floor Kaly? Did you pick up a box and look at the powder spilled on the table? Did you click on the jug of liquid on the table? Did you see the box of pelican? tokens?

I have done everything the walkthrough says to do even started the game over, but the cutscene back to Baker St. just isn't happening. Do the eye icons over the body all go away? Because this is not happening on the left hand with the pin hole.

Anyone know of a patch, fix, etc for getting past this part of the game? The (eye) icons over the body (the left hand) does not go away after you have looked at the closeup of the pinhole. The ones on the right hand and neck go away after looking at them. Magtro, I have followed your walkthrough, do you know of something I am skipping? I would appreciate anything you could suggest. Continue on to see if that eye icon is just for your information and will not hinder the progress of the game.
I vaguely remember that it stays there but not sure.
Keep us posted.

I have found the problem. When looking at the left hand in closeup, one must also look at the THUMB as well as the pin-pricked finger. Sherlock will say something else when you look at the thumb. This was not mentioned in Magtro's walkthrough. It worked for me and was what I was missing to make the cutscene happen, so now I can go back to Baker St. Hope this helps others to continue on. They might have changed that part if that is what you got.
I replayed that part in my game.

I looked at the right hand. Saw only one finger that is active: He said, The right index finger is coated with dust.

I looked at the left hand. Only one finger is active and can be clicked on - the middle finger. He said even though it is the middle finger - There is a hole at the left 'thumb' used to draw blood on the passport... The thumb was not active in my game.

They might have caught the error in dialogue and added the active thumb that you got.

I see... anyway, I hope this helps if someone else gets stuck. I also found another walkthrough that mentions the thumb. Good luck to all, and thanks again. Kaly
