BFG-Guy, I had no problem with it, though it was spotty on giving me a choice of where to save. (Or else my fingers were spotty in choosing the correct option)

On the plus side, I spent awhile engrossed in the RTS--a genre I never thought I'd like. wave

hehehe...Master of Defense was the last game that sucked me in. In the survival mode I got to the top 5 spot in the world and was convinced the people above me had cheated the list somehow! rotfl

The Vista question...I am not sure. They should be fine...but check each game's specific system requirements if you want to be sure on their product page.

Is this all 5 games free or do you choose one game free please?

thanks,
Linda

**edited: I chose Peter Flat's Inflatable Adventures and it seems to be downloading quite a bit slower but then I could have the 1 in 4 download that goes slowly. Thanks, Linda

**other than downloading a little slower than expected all went very smoothly. I used "run" as I have been satisfied with the way the games have downloaded and installed on your other download manager and saw no reason to change it.

I tried it on my vista machine and everything went smoothly. The first game I downloaded it prompted me for the save location. I created a new folder under program files called "big fish" and it saved the game there. The second game I downloaded it automatically put the game in that folder without prompting me. I guess I was a little surprised that 1) when I installed the second game it didn't ask me where to install it (it could've had my saved location as the default) or 2) there didn't appear to be an option in the client to change the location. I like that it remembers the location, but maybe it could also give you the option to change it?

Thanks BFG!!!

I just downloaded all five games and tried a little of each. I had no problem on Vista Home Premium. I will try it tomorrow on my XP. And I was surprised about that Master Game, I have no idea what a "RTS" is, but I was very intrigued with this game. I liked too how it went into my regular place and now it has a little trashcan to delete. Thanks for making it easier and also for being able to try some fun games! I still think you guys are the best!!!

Thanks!

"RTS" is a core gamer (me 20 years ago) term. It stands for "Real Time Strategy". That means the game runs at it's own pace and you have to make decisions in "real time" on how to allocate resources or make moves. The game never waits for you.

Koalanut, it does have a slider to change the time. You can slow it down a little with that. You are right about it being a mind stretcher though wave

I couldn't get it to work on any of the games and now some of my already downloaded games won't run. I contacted customer service.

BFG-Guy
I'm getting hooked on that Master of Defense game. They are all playing fine and the new game manager is working fine in Vista. I am right now checking through the games in XP and having no problems. Thanks for telling us about this and letting have these fun games!!! I didn't know I would like the RTS kind of game, at least this one I did! thanks

Thank you BF Guy because I downloaded the new toolbar and uninstalled old expired games and everything went beautiful. I am using win XP with no problem. I installed the new free games and am now playing some of them. I thank you for the opportunity of being a beta tester and welcome doing it again. Just so you know I give the toolbar a thumbs up, and it seems the downloads were faster also. I filled in your beta survey also. If I may ask how soon before we can see some more great adventure games again from BFG?

Hey BFG-Guy, I was trying to find a game on the list of my games and a thought crossed my mind. Is there any way to put the games in some kind of order, even like alphabetically. Cause after a while and numerous games on the list, it gets harder to find a game. Is this something we can do already? Or can it be something that can be added to the features of the game manager? I know I have around twenty on the list and there was a post about how many games that you have bought and some were saying thirty or more games, so that might be nice to be able to find them easier. Thanks!!!

I don't know about the new game manager...on my way to download now, but on the old one you could drag your games into any order...just found that out by accident the other day...

I tried to download a game in the new manager area and I received a message that the games did not work on a 64 bit operating system. It suggested downgrading to 32 bit with my system's online documentation. I am not sure how to do that, but I will read up on it. The old manager works fine on this computer which is running Vista.

WOW... Each game downloaded in like 10 seconds... what an improvememt!!!!!

I play just a few minutes of each game so that I could give a fair evaluation. None of them appeal to me but I absolutely love the new BF downloader. I tried uninstalled the games as easy as I downloaded them. I tried the "play my games" and it works great. We can now do everything from our desktops. That really puts Big Fish Games at the top of the market. Why would anyone buy somewhere else????

Thank you for always giving us the best BF news, BFG Guy!
