I don't know where I hit him Darleen, didn't care as long as he left me alone.
Be sure to search the area where he was though, I found at least one inventory item there.....maybe two.

I just started this game. I have wandered all over and keep going in circles. Have found "gabby" in the cage and the cook in the kitchen. I can't find anything else. The walkthrough says you'll meet someone named "head" or something like that? Haven't seen it (him) yet. Thanks for any help.

Laurette I don't know who you are referring to as gabby. Are you still in the prologue part of the game? What do you have in your inventory?

Hi Laurette
Before you go right into the kitchen, go straight ahead, there is a sign on the wall that says 'Grunger', Ed the Head is there as well.

Gabby is the ghoul in the cage that won't shut up. All I have in inventory is a stick, a medalian Sp?, and the worm.

Keep wandering around Laurette and grabbing anything you can for your inventory. You should see an empty flask near Edd.....take it. Did you notice the key hanging around Grunger's neck? You are going to need that. I think you also need to find some ropes or at least one rope.

texaslady: I have managed to meet Edd the Head. I got the flasks. The walkthrough says to "burn" the ropes. I found the ropes, but only have a "wet torch." I can't find anything to light it with. Help, again! Thanks.

You need to stick the torch into a pot of human fat. I think it's in the library Laurette.

Ok. I said I wouldn't ask any "dumb" questions. I am at Chapter 1 and am supposed to find an iron bar from a loose grate. I can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Laurette look at the floor grates in front of the big "dogs" I think.

Laurette, the metal grate on the floor is in the middle of the room.
The loose metal bar is on the center of the grate.

You may have to find the exact spot of the bar on the grate.

I think you can select a gift when you want it Laurette. Just remember only one gift.
Have you tried to walk across a wooden bridge yet? The dogs are on the other side of that I believe.

Yes, I've gotten to the broken wooden bridge. I was referring to the walkthrough and it appeared that I needed the iron bar before I tried to cross the bridge? Thanks.

Laurette have you gone across that bridge? You will need the iron bar but I honestly think it's easier to find where things are first before gathering inventory.

I'm stuck in the Crematorium. I don't see Briggs talk to the jailer. Where is the meeting at? Do I go to the town Hall? Tried the prison nothing. Help??? Diane

Diane, dificult to say why you do not see Briggs.

Could you have miss a little something when going from place to place with the map?????

Maybe checking the WT could be a good idea.

I went back and checked the map can't see anywhere I've forgotten. I've been fallowing the w/t.

The only thing I can think of is to make sure you didn't skip picking up any inventory, any conversations or any action.
I had to go back in my game and repeat steps. I missed messing with the doors in the stable the first time.

Sami, the meeting should be at the crematorium after you went to the Dead End. Did you go to a hidden house after you have risen the wall and use the C key?

If you are fallowing the WT, I would imagine you did this.

Did you pick up everything at each place?
