I have only one profile and is called Folder 1. That is where all my saves are located. That is the folder where I put the "save" you sent.

To follow what Becky said.
Yes: all saves go in one folder only - as you have done.

But when one enters the game, you have a choice of several profiles. You can play using anyone of those 5 symbols that Becky explained. But all the saved game done by all those profile (5 symbols) are kept in that one profile.

So load every symbol and see which symbol-profile will open up the saved game sent.

Ray did you rename/renumber the saved game? I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Did you scroll through each of the saves you have to look for the picture that would be with this one?

I used the moon symbol for this game Ray!

I checked all five player symbols with now luck. Maybe I will hae to change the number of the "save" to follow in the correct orderas you suggested.
Will go back and do some soul searching on this one.
It has me stumped.

One problem solved another arises. I managed to figure out the "decoding the alphabet" problem, however, after that it is supposed to be night time so she can talk to Nostradamus in bed.
He is still settting in his study. Dear me, what did I miss now??

Maybe you just need to talk to him Ray? You might have missed a topic of conversation with him.

Went into the study and talked to Nostradamus..Three conservations..Took a trip outside, in and out the bedrooms.
Changed clothing just in case. Still no luck. As I mentioned I couldn't get your save to work but being "bullheaded" managed to figure out the decoding of the alphabet. Even went to the castle and snooped in the Chapel...

I even went into a different part of the house to do the puzzle but it make no difference. Still daylight.

Okay Ray, you've missed something in this area of the game. You just won't be able to advance until you figure out what it is. Go back to a prior save and double check what you've done against the w/t. That's the only way I know of figuring out what has been missed.
It could be inventory, a puzzle or a conversation tree.

Well, well,well. I backed up prior to getting the sword and shield. When I left the castle this time is was dark outside.
FINALLY thanks to all of you I can talk to Nostradamus in his bedroom. I will straighten the sword tomorrow.

Hi,

Same missing rope problem here, I picked it up quite early in the game at the smithy and it's just not in my inventory anymore. In hindsight I did use both ropes in inventory on the library cupboard and by rights one of them should still be available on the desk by the cupboard, but it isn't.

Can someone please send me a saved game from somewhere around when you have to enter the hole in the library?

Thanks a million if you do - I really don't feel like playing this very big part all over again so soon.

Nanette the saved game has been sent. The rope is hanging off the chandelier and you can go down in the hold now.

Info for other players: the saved game was by default placed in a different players profile, just try all 5 till it shows.

Originally I used player 1 (sun) too, but it showed up in player 2 (moon). Never mind, I can go on now as player 2 - can't wait for the remainder.

I placed it in the my ganes' dir (D:\Nostradamus\Users\Profile1) where my other saves are, but it doesn't show. Any suggestions?

I think I used profile 1, you may have to install it in that folder.
