I didn't think about checking the reviews, . Thank you for pointing that out Ana. Interesting, a rock band? Not to into rock but don't mind some of it. Looks like an interesting game. I will be buying it. Although, the install process sounds kind of complex. Best Regards, Preston

Preston C. -- the European version of the game comes with an installer. The North American version is a bit harder to install, but step-by-step instructions are included at the end of this walkthrough.I liked the game a lot, and though there is a guitar in the game, I don't recall hearing any rock music at all. The game reminded me a lot of Riven.

I played Alida awhile ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact it is one of the games that remains in my 'library' to be replayed again. Agree with Becky that it reminded me a lot like Riven too.

Great game - there were parts of it I replayed just for fun ! And the install process sounded a lot worse than it actually was , if that's any help...

Preston C., The music in the game is quite lovely. The background story is about the rock band, but there isn't any rock in it. I really enjoyed the game's puzzles and all the different environments.

I thought that the rock band theme had more to do with how people deal with that kind of fame and wealth. And for our next act...an island resort with a giant guitar! (Not to mention the extreme astronomy experiments, and so on.) Why not? The sky's the limit! I don't remember any rock music, actually. Unless you count the final strum, which was a bit um, painful.
