I am in LN's office trying to underline Wolfsprey in the book Wellsmoth. The hints in the game seem to indicate I should do this. The WT says I should do this, but when I underline and think about it, it won't add the new name to my map.

I have read every other thread about this game. I've tried turning off Norton and making sure I thought about every other underline previously. Not sure if I missed something, (but I followed the WT)or if this is a bug. I've spent several hours trying to figure out how to fix this so I would sure appreciate any more suggestions. Thanks!

Be sure that you clicked on the eye symbol on the wall of Ivar's cottage.
Underline the other symbols with WMT also.
After these 3 are underlined, they will show in the think frame. Check the map then.

I'm pretty sure that it's not the name Wolfsprey you should underline. I have to dig deep into my memory here! Wasn't it something with the tombs or the graveyard? Or maybe you just missed one of the triggers?

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I do have the three locations on the map but I can't make him realize the new name for Wolfsprey, thus giving me the graveyard location. The walkthrough says to underline the part in the book about Wolfsprey's new name. But when I do, he just tells what the book is about in general. I also have on the help that is supposed to automatically underline what you need. It won't do it either. The hint system says to look at a book in LN's office too. If I had missed something why would it say that?

So I can't progress in the game. I am very close to giving up because I'm finding this whole underlining process frustrating.

You should have 4 marked locations in the map after underlining the symbols and doing the map marking.
Then you look at the marked map and right click all 4. Howard should wonder about the names.

You progress then doing Clarke's house and another nightmare.
Do Ivar's cottage and find out about Wellworth/Wholestone.
Do EB's house and phone call.

Now you can check the book in Nolder's Office and find out about Wollsprey/Windlapse. BTW - you need to have underlined The Tomb clue in Ivar's cottage for this.

That is the trigger - you have to have finished Braunbell's place first before you can do this marking.

Nope, I was wrong. I did have all four markers on the map and clicked on them. I have The Tomb in my "brain". He wonders where it is. I've researched the phone number and talked to Arthur about it. I've done everything you suggested here and in your WT. Your WT has been a huge help for a very difficult game but now I think it really must be a bug. The hint even says I need to do research in a book in LN's office. He just won't acknowledge it.

My game isn't patched because on my other computer it messed up the game, so I started over without it.

The old patch is not a good one. I don't know anything the new released patch.
