I'm having trouble with getting acid to fall in the reinforced bucket. everyway I move it by telekinesis doen't seem to catch any acid. Any hint?

After placing the sleeve inside the pot. Use the telekinesis on the sleeved pot.
Move it as close to the mouth of the ceiling pipe where the acid drips out.
You should get the word 'acid' at bottom of the screen. Click and it will fill up in maybe 2-3 seconds.

I cannot find the lever for the cable car. I have read your walkthrough MaG and clicked on everything outside on the left. I found it easily on the demo and yet now I cannot find it. Where is it exactly?

Also please tell me if I can use my save game from the demo I played in January. I tried the save games from the demo and yet none showed up, since I am further in the game in the demo save I would like to use it for the paid version. Thank you for whoever answers this question.

EDIT.....................I forgot to mention I already turned on the cable car from control panel and turned on the radio in the cable car, exited and now trying to find the lever for the cable car which I know is on the left of it, yet again I cannot find it.

I presume you can use the saved game. I'm not sure but it's easy enough to replay them and you can have fun replaying.

Have you clicked the stand on the left outside the cable car?
Have you already powered the cable car from the office inside?

yes, everywhere I have clicked the stand. Am I suppose to get a closeup view of the lever? Yes, I already powered the cable car from the office.

Sherryah walk into the car and the look to your left. Do you see the brown box outside the car? Use your paranormal skill to flip the lever on that box. No, there isn't a close up view of the lever, you just need to move your cursor until you see the word lever.

EDIT..........Thank you Sue, the key words you told me to do was enter the cable car and look to the left, I was trying to find the lever while walking on the outside before I entered the cable car. I appreciate your help, and because of you, I pulled the lever and I am now in Coriddor hall A.

I'm now having a problem with Larisa taking a shower. GITS has asked all questions several times and doesn't seem to get to tell Larisato listen to him. He tells her she is a shadow but doesn't elaborate on the subject. Help!

Hi maxcat. I just finished this part of the game a little while ago. Be sure that you found and read the letter from Neils to Larisa that was on the storeroom floor so you can move on in this part of the game.
Has Larisa talked about waking up and being covered in black? If you've done all that, keep plugging away at the conversation options and you'll get it. It took awhile for me to finally finish up there too.

Thanks, but I did find that if I walked out of the dressing room and then went back in, I had more options to talk to Larisa. Moving on, I am in Hall B and I have powered up the little car on chains and by telekinesis,I'm trying to sharpen a stick for the cabinet with the hole. Seems to be taking forever and shouldn,t I get a dialog from GITS saying the stick is sharp enough? Iam putting the stick to the turning wheel that's bare and it says spinning wheel at the bottom.

Max that's all I did, stuck the metal bar to the spinning wheel. I can't remember if he said it was enough or if it just quit sharpening itself. Remove it and see if it's sharp enough to use as a probe now.

I got thru opening the control panel and the floor slid open to reveal more panels. I went to the red panel and under lobby fan, I ush the lever to ON. Then I went to the storeroom and to the cellar and put the left lever or button down for Hall B and 2 red lights came on. I next pushed the lobby lever down and the fan is still not on. Am I doing something wrong?

Max let me check in my game and get back to you. I remember having to complete a number of steps but don't remember all of them. I'll get back to you.

Edit: Red machine that is down in the pit, lever is pulled and fan light is on. Hall B lever is down, red light is on at the top right switch and the one to it's left. Hall A lever is in upper position and the middle lever is also in the down position.

Is there some trick to getting all of the moving lights together in the center....I am trying to get power with my electric ability. I would prefer not to have to bypass the task, but my clicker finger/arm is really getting worn out.This is upstairs in the middle of the corrider in Hall A, I believe. Any helpful hints?? techniques?

ok, now I seem to have a problem with eavesdropping. I went to the fallen catwalk in Hall B and put eavesdrop to work. I then went to the passage in Hall A. I tried to go to the door to Hall B but it left me on a passage with no way out except to turn around to go to Hall A and go all the way around to Hall B. I landed near the little car and went to the fallen catwalk and clicked on eavesdrop and heard nothing. Am I going to the wrong passage?

Hope this helps .Its the passage up the steps along the place where the fire bugs were .through the door at the end and you are facing the steps .I am not to good at explaing stuff

Thanks,dragonuk44, but my walktrough says to activate eavesdropping and then go to passage. It then says to go back to the catwalk. I don't get any cursor that tells me to go down the stairs once you walk thru to Hall B at the end of the passage. I've been going down the stairs in Hall and going out the entranceway and going into Hall B. Then, I proceed to the catwalk and click on eavesdrp and get a lot of sounds, no mumbles or numbers. I need to get thru this to get to the safe. It won't open without acknowledgement that GITS has the number for the safe. Anyone help me, Ive been stuck over a day know and have had no luck?

after you have droped the eavesdropping spell it will tell you to leave the room when you go back you hear him mumbling and he says the number.you drop the eaves dropping spell on the cat walk .You are facing the ladder as I recall .Then go back to the passage way .Wait a bit then go back and you should hear him ,He mumbles on a little so you have to listen .Hope this helps

Thanks, Chief, for the info and it worked! but now , after talking to the head in the secret room, I'm down in the cellar to find Niels. I made the flute and it disappeared. When I used the scary sound, the flute came back up close. But all the icons disappeared and I can't use wind to blow the flute. What happened? This game is driving me nuts!

Max I haven't gone that far in the game yet so right now the only thing I can think of is to tell you to go back to a saved game and try again.

When you see the icon on the left, click on the new icon (wind).
Then when the flute is at close up, click on a hole and you will see a wind-clothlike icon on the hole. This means you are blowing at that hole now with your wind power.

I tried clicking on wind but it doesn't bring up the flute. If I click on scary sound and the wind, it brings up the flute and I put the cursor over the bottom hole, cloth comes out but no music. I don't get the wind cursor to use on the flute even though I have clicked on it.Now what?
