I am at the beginning of the game in the office with the safe. The combination is pi, double checked with walkthough, says L3,R1, L4, R1, L5. I still can not get the safe to open. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help

Jersey did you put the pieces of paper together? They were in a trash can and a desk drawer I believe.
Don't zero the safe out please. Literally go from one number to the next to open the safe.

I am at the mechanism gear puzzle, through the sluice at left side of storage room. I don't know how to put the gears I picked up into the puzzle to be able to connect the gears. Feeling supid here

Please use one thread per game. This way we can follow your gameplay better.
You can find your posts at top of the page under My Place.

As for the gear puzzle: if you do not have all the gears, the puzzle is not activated. Once activated, just click a gear to pick it up and drop it where you want it to go.
