I can't get past the timed puzzle after the SUV wreck. The light is faster (by a LOT) than my old eye. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Obviously, I have not progressed in my eye/hand coordination since Pac-Man (at which I stank!) I cannot keep the guy with the cardiac arrest alive. I'm sure any 10 year old could do it, but I simply cannot. Does anyone have a saved game after this doggone timed heart puzzle?

Thank you for being ther and so ready to help. Lord knows, I'll be needing it, it seems!

I'm back..I KNEW it! I'm in the gap. After dispatching the crazed warrior, I went back to the fruits to restock, back to the gap and I'm stuck. I looked at your walkthrough--can't find a branch to tie the rope. I went out to the cliff side and can't find anything there, either. What in the world am I doing wrong??
Like a fool, I've been playing straight through since just before getting the microchip and don't have a more recent saved game if I have to go back and redo something. Obviously I need help!!

Let me put my game in to look pam.

Sue

Did you walk all the way to the left on the narrow ledge?. Where I have him standing there is a vine hanging down in front of him and a tree branch.

Yes, Sue..he's at the edge and I can see the vine but not the branch. Anyway, when I pass the rope over that area, I get no hot spot to attach it.

Oops, I did something wrong in posting my reply to you. I thought I posted it, but I don't see it.

Anyway, I do have him at the left edge of the narrow ledge. I see 3 vines, no branch. When I pass the rope over the area, i get no hotspot to attach the rope.

Sorry, I just didn't go tto page 2. Duh.

Does that mean you found the ledge I'm talking about Pam?

Sorry about the multiple replies. I'm still pretty new to this. I'll try to do better, promise.
I think I'm at the right place. Crawl through the gap, stand on the ledge where the warrior fell. Is that right?

the rope won't click on anything

Yes Pam, the area where you knocked the warrior off....turn to the left there. You should end up on a narrow ledge and the tree limb will be at the end of the ledge.

Well, Sue, I am completely baffled. I've gone back out and in again; still don't see anything to attach the rope. I can make Adam go near the edge where the warrior fell, but that's all. I'm stumped.

There is an exit at the edge of the cliff.
Move your cursor at edge of the where the warrior was located. until it turns to a square and the label of that place is changed to 'edge of the cliff' (I think) then click.
You will then be at the ledge and see the only big branch there.

I simply don't see that. When I press "E" I get only one exit--back to the village. I swear I've gone over this scene pixel by pixel. Could I have some glitch in my game?

pam,

Check your e-mail. I sent you a picture of where the square cursor is located and what the label of the cursor is.

Thank you--I'll check immediately!

It just is not there! Could I have forgotten to do something before I knocked off the warrior? I'll look back through the walkthrough again, but I really have gone over it a couple of times. Maybe three really is the charm!

Nope, the only thing I could see is that I have only 2 sticks instead of three. My energy is at 100%, I have 5 fruits, the flag, coconut, yellow berries, etc. Should I go back to the plateau and get another stick?
