Well, I finally DID get the sucker installed! I HAD Spyware Doctor (paid subscription), but I also had AVG - PAID SUBSCRIPTION - professional version. For those who haven't used AVG, you get automatic updates and complete tests for viruses AND spyware daily. I've got mine to start running at 3 AM, BTW. I can't remember exactlty why I finally figured out that Spyware Doctor was my problem, but it did dawn on my dim brain that I sure didn't need it. AVG takes care of the spyware; Spyware Doctor wasn't coming up w/ diddly. End of Spyware Doctor. SUDDENLY - I could install not only Agon (I had to add an exception), but also all the angst I'd had w/ "Keepsake" suddenly went away.

I'd contacted the guys for Agon, and of course, they where "sure" I had an error somewhere. NOT! When I emailed my report - deadening silence. You're on your own, except for here, folks.

Don't know how useful what I went though will be, but it's worth a shot. Besides. I've gotten so much help from the dear and brilliant folks here, I figured I owed back something.

I'm getting ready! Just now, I'm playing "Next Life". <G> W/ an 80 gig you have to be choosey. That's the inernal one. It worked for me, anyway. No one was more surprised than I was. Who knew?

I think if you will go back to the puzzle and hit the backspace key that the puzzle will be solved for you.

Sunita I've sent you a saved game for the puzzle. I think you'll have to rename/renumber it to fit into your games profile though.

I have a question about the very end of the game. I can free Hanson, Scott, and Dirac, but when I try to free Larisa and Neils the game freezes just as they are about to go. And just to be safe I have saved the game at these different points in case I need to go back and change something. Am I missing something? As far as I can tell I have followed the walkthrough, or is it just my game and computer?

If you released the others already, then you have done everything correct to this point.
Maybe lower your video/audio acceleration and then see if the cutscene starts when you get Larissa and Niels together.
If that still doesn't work, please post at the Glitches forum.

Nippers, this has been already reported and in 98%, updating your audio and sound drivers fix the issue. In case it doesn't (2% who had difficulties with updating their drivers or it didn't help) right click this link and choose "save as" and save it to your game directory.

Then use exorcism on Larisa and it'll skip the scene.

Texaslady....I have been havingtrouble with this game, but have worked through most...The Talk to Niels part have problems..I have bone, made holes in it , used scary essence on it..Saved the game, scary sound skill made close up of flute... gameboomers Instructions say , to make sound...Click with wind skill on bottom hole to hear nice music and to call up Niels...But with scary essence and up close flute... you can't click on wind skill because there are no skills up in the left had side of screen. when bone comes up in large size all of the others disappear...can you help.... razzed

Razzed are you clicking on the bottom hole of the "flute"? Not any of the four that are lined up but the one at the very bottom?

Texaslady..yes I am clicking on the very bottom, far left hole... all that happens is something blue flows out of the hole. razzed

That blue is the sound that you need to click on the holes.
