Am almost at the beginning of this and after carefully following the WT several times, I still can't get a message on the notepad that says 'did Kelly lie to me?'. Have even approached Adrian's and Kelly's doors alternately in different games and questioned them in different order, but always with the result that Kelly tells me she stays with her boyfriend when she's away. So no need to write the above in notepad..
The result is that I always get the message 'not enough information to write a full article'.
Hope I've given enough info for someone to help me. Have been stuck for a week, so will be grateful for any forthcoming help.

Myopia you have to catch Kelly telling lies. Ask her all the questions you can about how and where Joann slept and then once you've covered all that, go talk to the RA...sorry can't remember his name. He should spill the beans about where Kelly slept. It has to be done through conversation though so it may take you a bit to get the info.

No luck Sue, still can't get any further, have even looked to see if there's a patch just in case that's the reason I'm so horribly stuck, but of course there isn't one.

Have got kinda fed up with replaying the same part and asking the same questions that feel it's time to move on.

Thanks very much for your prompt reply,

Myopia

The game and the clues are driven by conversations so much that it is one that you have to keep working on.
Sorry you haven't enjoyed it.

myopia, have you combined clues? Some new topics show up when you talk to people BUT some will not show up unless you combine clues/questions in your notebook so try and combine everything with one another in the notebook.

In the scene that you are "stuck", you have to combine/click both things in your notebook one after the other to get a new clue/question:

- Joann slept all night
- Kelly slept elsewhere

When you combine the clues, you're not asking the questions to someone (again) but looking at your notebook and clicking on them.

Don't give up on the game yet!

The only times I looked at and clicked on the notebook were when I was asking the RA and Kelly questions and trying to do research on the computer. It was only when in desperation I tried questioning the hospital guard that writing appeared in the notebook, leading finally to 'did Kelly lie to me?' Duh,I didn't have a 'senior moment' but more of a 'senior week'.

Deep joy! Thanks misa and Sue,if you hadn't persisted I would have left a superb adventure unfinished and always regretted it.

God bless,
myopia

Glad you made it through. Don't forget to check your notebook frequently and combine clues. And I agree with Sue that they are worth every minute of conversation and every duh moment. smile
