Just an update here.

Still waiting for The Adventure Co. to get back on the system info I sent them.

I also went to Windows 2000 updates and downloaded everything I could find but none of it made a difference on the game.

I now have new drivers and new Windows updates but no change.

Did anyone ever make this game work on Windows 2000?

If you did then what did you do to make it work?

Well finally heard from The Adventure Co. and they are willing to exchange Next Life for another game.

I think that is really nice of them to do that and I say "Way to go The Adventure Co.

I saw on their store web page (where they told me to go and pick another game)a game called Dawnspire but when I look on its page there is no SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS?? Does anyone know what the system requirements are for this game and can you tell me what this game is like? Is it like Oblivion or Divine Divinity?

I also have the mouse problem and slow movements. Makes the game hard to keep playing. I am running on XP Service pack 2, AMD Athalon dual core 2 4200 processor, 1406 mg of memory, 250 GB hard drive, nvidia gefore pci 6100 integrated graphics card, 2.2 GZ Direct X 9.c

All of the newer games do not seem to run ok on this system, although it meets the requirements.

Seems as though I should upgrade all of my graphic cards on all my PC's to run the new games. (This includes my kid's PC's).

Just hope it still will work for the older games we have as well.

Sorry, Forgot to mention I have a Gateway.

The rest of your specs are fine, but those graphics won't support the game. It's way too slow. You should look into getting a real video card (assuming it's a desktop and not a laptop).

What is one supposed to do when it's been several days or weeks since the last post and the topic has scrolled several pages back on the board? Editing a post does not bump it back to the top.

I sent my game Next Life back to The Adventure Co. and have picked out The Secrets of Atlantis to replace it.

I hope I picked a good game and that it works for me.

I enjoyed Secrets of Atlantis.

Cwky did you ever get your replacement game???
I sent back my Next Life game to them on March 10th and still haven't gotten my replacement game.

I have also sent Mr. Philip Priest several emails asking for my replacement but have heard nothing back from him yet and am loosing my patience with him.

I am now going back to the site and trying again through the contact there to see if I can get anyone else to help me or I am going to be out a game and my money.

Just to let everyone know that I finally got my game replacement for Next Life.

For a while I wasn't sure if they would but after I called them and found out that it was indeed sitting on someones desk and it would be sent out soon I then stopped worring about it.
