I played Miss Teri Tale to the end. I uninstalled it, did a search for any leftovers, then re-installed it a little later. All I can play now is the epilogue. When I click on the Play button, nothing happens. I've contacted BFG, but haven't heard from them in 3 days now. Any suggestions?

Tammy, have you tried their chat help site? It's available today, but not on the weekend.

Does it ask you for a name? If so, did you try putting in a different name?

Have you cleared your cache/cookies?

If you haven't heard back from the email support, I'd email them again. Usually I hear from them within 48 hours but occassionaly it takes longer. Did you check your spam to see if their answer is there? luck

Are you on Comcast? They were blocking us for 5 days but it is now fixed.

If not please resubmit, as our email queue for support is at about 16 hours now so somehow yours was missed.

I just now chatted with BFG. They are going to send me instructions as to how to start the game over again. They also suggested, and you did, to put in a different name in order to play the game again.

I usually hear from BFG the next day, and they are really kind. Yes, I did clear all the cookies/cache before re-installing, but wouldn't work.

I'll re-install it tomorrow and use a different name and see what happens. Thanks for everyone's help.

Thank you so much Big Fish, and BFG-GUY for all the great games. It's so nice nowadays for the consumer to actually get what they want. It is a credit to you and your company. You really seem to care about making your customers happy, no matter what type of games they play. You do a great job of pleasing all of the people all of the time. Keep up the good work.

As a former game developer (I built 15 games including Mahjong Towers, Word Wizard Deluxe, Word Search Deluxe, Top Ten Solitaire, Bursting Bubbles, Brag, Brag , and more bragging praise ) download games do not use browser cache or cookies (they technically cannot) that is what browser game use. Download games use computer registries or config or txt files in the game's install directory. Registries are impossible to decipher usually, but "polite" games delete the registries they created when you uninstall. Some do not, and it does not hurt your computer but can clutter your registries. Reinstalling your OS is the only way to truly clean registries, but like I said, have remnants in your registries is more of an impolite practice and does not affect your computer's performance unless there are literally 10's of thousands of extra registry entires.

That said if a game leaves registry entries in place after uninstalling, it can affect the game when you reinstall it (like remembering your progress the last time you played).

The "U3 Games" we launched last week are extremely polite as they ONLY write to the USB U3 thumb drive (nothing is written to the computer's hard drive. Thus those are the only guaranteed truly mobile games you can plug into any computer adn continue playing where you left off. http://sandisk.bigfishgames.com/

Just your technical "nugget of info" of the day to make future trouble shooting easier!

Thanks BFG-Guy. I love my computer, but am a little--ok a lot--fuzzy when it comes to how it works. I'm just glad it does wave

I played Miss Teri Tale over again, and it worked this time. Thanks to BFG for their help. Your games are terrific. I have quite a few of them and will probably still buy more. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Hollister!

I enjoyed reading your reviews. I loved Sydney and Miss Terri Tale and am seriously considering buying another credit for Escape the Museum. I mostly agreed with your reviews, and for mostly the same reasons. Thanks!
