What kind of hardy soul goes looking for treasure and for ghosts? Nickie describes how Nigel Danvers is mysteriously lured into the the town of Saxton, England. Here fog, twilight and surreal hauntings begin to descend upon The Lost Crown's accidental hero. The Lost Crown: A Ghost-hunting Adventure

Thanks all for your kind comments! Inferno, I'm not really a fan of horror games, so I would say that regardless of my level of enjoyment, it's a well crafted game that deserved high marks.
And thanks MaG, as always, for your work in presenting it so beautifully!

Oh, cripes!
An A! No less.
The Lost Crown is, and will always be, a very personal work for me. It's based on the world outside my window (which is sometimes hard to get away from), and formed from memories of what excited me about 'ghosts' in the first place (namely, good supernatural stories). Dark Fall explored that interest, to some degree, and the experience of making it re-ignited my interest in the adventure game genre. I am more than thrilled to see my new 'ghost-hunting adventure' here on Gameboomers, getting an 'A'.
Thanks! That A means the world to me.

Hi Mag!
Thanks for a great walkthrough! It's always odd/interesting to see how people progress through a game. I always find myself thinking "what made that item so interesting, so intriguing", only to take the information and learn for the next time, the next game.
The same goes for the Gameboomers review. I've read it a couple of times now, and I can happily say that the M.R.James quote, that raises the curtain to the main event, really thrills me. I like to think that I've told a new, classic-styled ghost story... ...with all the trappings and trimmings. Stunted Englishmen and all!
