Aln, I'm sorry this is so frustrating! It sounds like the game could be fun to play - who wouldn't want to save eagles! I haven't played it, and you're right, there don't seem to be hints anywhere for it on the internet. Have you tried these things in the game though - asked your Mom and best friend Ivy for hints? Gone to the school library - some answers there? Tell me what the problem is and I'll keep looking. This isn't an RPG though, don't know why those sites would call it that. Maybe because you're playing the role of Julie. A hybrid adventure game with two mini-strategy games included.

Welcome to Gameboomers GR. I feel bad for you and your daughter, and am sure it's very frustrating. I assume you tried the things I mentioned above, and still are stuck? A couple questions - did you contact THQ by their official request form? Here it is. Is some other company listed on the game as well as THQ? THQ doesn't even list the game in their data base, although I know their name is on the game box. Ah, here we go. THQ is the publisher, but Imaginengine is the developer. They don't list an email address, but the other contact information for them is : 1881 Worcester Rd., Suite 201, Framingham, MA 01702 ph. 508.739.0120, fx. 508.739.0125 Also, another possibility, and maybe the best suggestion. Here is a review on the game, written by the editor of that site. It might help to contact her and ask her about the game. You can reach the editor at info@games4girls.com If all else fails, I'll go looking for the game to play myself.

Thanks Karsten. Sorry, I removed that other link because some of the other games on that site I'm not sure they have a right to offer. American girl itself was ok. Let us know if you play it!

Hi Nickie That's OK as I asked you to do so... However, I haven't been able to play the game at all And even if I were to get the boxed version, it would probably end up costing me about twice as much with tax, freight and shipping + customs. I'll try again, though.. edit: I just tried again and found this: https://fe.trymedia.com/magnus/bbyt.html...t_07om&dm=# (this looks legit, does it, nickie?) Anyway, I got this error code, so it looks OK to me, since it mentions that they have gotten permissions from to publisher to sell this game in Denmark (or maybe in Europe?) at all. http://fe.trymedia.com/magnus/error_code...fering=60m_i_1f

It looks okay from what I can see. The game was ok on the other site, it was just some of the other games they were offering that were free were brand new and so it was unlikely they were legit for free. You did ask, and I appreciate you doing that.
You were trying to play the demo and it just wouldn't work? Thanks so much for trying!

GR, I do have an answer for you. Have just played enough to answer the camera question. Click on the spoiler below for an answer. You talk to Julie's Dad and he says he needs a flashlight before he will look for the camera in the dark attic. What have you seen so far that has a light? TJ's bike (TJ is playing basketball outside the library). Look at it on the bicycle, and then ask TJ if you can borrow it. He lets you borrow it, but it isn't working. It needs batteries. Go to Julie's Mom and ask her help. She says she has something you might need upstairs. In the kitchen, look in the refrigerator and get batteries. In inventory, combine the lamp from the bike with the batteries, and give the new combined item to Julie's Dad. Then click on him to talk to him again, and ask to borrow the camera, which he then lets you borrow. Aln, I haven't finished the game. If you let me know where you're stuck, I'll post if I can find an answer.

Hi Aln! Do you have a bucket yet? You find the bucket in the kitchen, in the cabinet underneath the sink Let me know if you do, and still can't get the guy to cooperate.

First of all, it sounds like you, aln, has done everything OK so far. So here's an idea you might try:
Does the game give you any hints as to what fish the eagles like to eat or something like that? Maybe the fisherman will only give you the correct fish as food for the eagles?
Just to be clear:
I haven't played the game, but most adventure games do have a certain logical way to proceed in the game. Ok, sometimes, even illogical ones, too - but most of the puzzles can be solved with some thought and trial and error. This is in no way, shape or form a critizism of you aln, or others, just an observation on how the gameplay in most adventure games seem to work.

Aln, have you gone to the library and read the book about eagles? It should then automatically put a note into your inventory, and you can show that to the man.
Karsten, that is true about all games and about life itself, but it doesn't mean we always see the route to take.

I'll have to play that part again to be sure, but I think it was triggered by clicking on the adult eagles in the cage ( back room of the rescue center). If not that, maybe just conversation with the rescue worker. Let me know, and if that doesn't do it, I'll go play that part again to see.

Yes, that one. Have you done the petition yet? I'll replay the game later, but probably won't have an answer for you until tomorrow, ok?

Ok, replayed and this is what you need to do. You need to get a donation for the museum first. You get a donation from the kite shop on Julie's street . To get the donation After looking at the kites and talking to the man about them and asking for a donation, you'll have to give him a fortune cookie with a better fortune inside it - you need to get the one that says something about generosity. Once you get the donation Take it to the girl at the rescue center. She will then tell you that it would be helpful for Julie to have more information about the eagles. The book about eagles will now be in the library, and once read will add a note to the inventory. Show the note to the fishmonger, and then click the bucket on him to get the fish.

I've finished playing this game, and the other sites were mistaken. This is pure adventure, geared toward young women around age nine or the young of heart (I enjoyed it, and I'm over fifty). So, I'm zooming this thread over to the adventure game hints forum, where it should have a home.
