Sandlot games just released Westward 2 for those of you who enjoyed Westward.

I love RTS (real time strategy) games. What do you all think of this game?

I love this type of game, but there aren't many available that I know of. Westward and Villagers. They are a nice change of pace from other games.

edit: is anyone else having a lot of bugs? Right now when I try to load up the game the music doesn't play at all, and then when I start the game the character says "How can I help?" over and over and over again when I'm not even clicking on him... it's all screwed up.

then i tried to ask sandlot for help but when i clicked the buttons to contact support their webserver gave me an error and told me to contact support about the error!

I, myself, can't wait for Bigfish to get this game. I've been waiting for a long time. I tried the beta demo thingy a while back and have been chomping at the bit ever since.

I had a few problems with the game. I think my problems were related to alt+tab messing up the stability of the program. I tend to multitask on the computer and alt+tab to check e-mail, etc. Some programs can handle it and some cant. Once I started a new game and didn't alt+tab I've had no problems.

Have you updated your video drivers? They can mess up the sound.

I am loving this game. I love that you can take your own time in building up your town without feeling rushed by having to get other things done. It is quite challenging as well!

Please need help can someone tell me if there is another quest to win experience points in the town where you have to build bank and maybe townhall cuz if not I will have to do it all over cuz I accidentally overwrote my game in the wrong place and I don't have the bank that I need to build to bust the bandits base see I only havee 30 points so if there is not a mini quest in this town then I have to go all the way back tomy original town. I hope somone understands what I am trying to say. Thank you. Trisha

Trisha, did you try the tips in the post just above yours?

No there are no additional quests in that side quest. However you can always go back to your main town and work on building up the town or do other quests and then return to the town hall defense quest when you have enough experience points for the bank. To return to your town don't use the save/load option instead use the menu button it should give you the options of restarting the quest or going back to town. The game keeps a continual save. So if you exit the game and come back just chose continue not load. You will be right back where you left off.

Thank you Suz2 I had to go back a little ways but made it through. I am stuck again now I have been wandering around for days trying to figure out what I am missing in the beat the bandits I destroyed all the buildings and all the bandit camps but the only place the bandits still keep coming at my hero is up at the top in the forest and they all get killed and then here there come again. The mad russian is still alive can someone help me so I can move on. Thank you Trisha

Do you have any exclamation marks? Did you also destroy the mine by the mad russian? Have you got the White and Wong quest?

No did not destroy the mine is it in the bandits base, and no white or wong quest yet.No exclamation marks left
