Hi Nsignificant, and ! If you're looking towards games that have a more cartoony style of graphic, then I would recommend: Runaway: A Road Adventure Runaway 2: Dream of the Blue Turtle Ankh: Reverse the Curse Ankh 2: Heart of Osiris Runaway: A Road Adventure is my personal favourite.

I just mean, uh... guesswork perhaps? I have limited powers of deduction ^_^. I had to use a walkthru to figure out how to get through the sewers in AGON. I am not particularly interested in cartoon-ish, just good adventure games. Thanks again. --I prefer the kind of Dramatic settings, as opposed to comedic, cartooy games. But all your suggestions are appreciated. (Sorry I gave you little to go on).

Aha ok, it was your mention of the Broken Sword and Monkey Island series that made me think you were after more of the cartoon style games. In that case, I would recommend: Secret Files: Tunguska Secrets of Da Vinci NiBiRu Return to Mysterious Island And if you are interested in ghost/horror games, there are another dozen or so that I could list, so I'll stop now.

Hey Nsi I recommend The Secrets of Atlantis: The Sacred Legacy is a great game, with great graphics and storyline. See the Review in Gameboomers by Inferno Love Maria

I would recommend the Syberia games.
So many games, so little time.

Nsignificant How about a trip to turn-of-the-century New York City? "Jack the Ripper" is an older game (reviewed here), but it's fun ... and it isn't cartoon-y. Not spooky or gory either. You play a newspaper reporter. I had fun stepping back to that time & place. Check out all the GameBoomers Reviews (top of this page)... the best way to find a new game to play.
