The old lady wants ketchup instead of mustard for her hotdog. So Martin returns to the snack shop and got a plain hotdog.

Click for screenshot showing ketchup in hotel lobby

But I can't find or get the ketchup. I return to the hotel lobby and there are 2 guests (see screenshot). I see a ketchup bottle by the table. I click on it and nothing happened. I can't click anywhere else as the "guest" will see me.

What do I do now? How do I get the ketchup??

Thanks for the help.

After entering the pet's name on the computer, Martin talks to Francois on the phone. He then exits by the window. I see him getting into the elevator outside Barbora's apartment. The next scene shows the elevator's door opens at the lobby and Martin steps out.

Now Martin would just stand there and not move. There is no "cursor". Do I need to do something or has the screen frooze? I tried this part several times and each time, Martin would just stand there and not move. I played this game using the walkthrough by MaGtRo from this site. I am running Windows Vista.

How do I get Martin the exit the building to the next scene? Is there a shortcut to bypass this scene? Please help, I'm stuck. Thanks.

I was researching this issue on the net and found that there are at least 2 gamers having the same issue of screen freezing at Barbora's apartment lobby, at other gaming sites. These gamers are running Vista as well.

It would seems that Niburu does not, in this instance, run in Vista. I wonder how those Vista compatible games site list Nibiru as Vista compatible.

Many thanks to Billy Bob for sending the game saves. I think this is a simple answer to the issue.

I certainly do hope the Adventure Company will patch up all their games for Vista. Release a Vista compatible disc or something.

I tried the game saves and it works. This confirms the issue with Vista and it can be resolved by loading a saved game.

Screenshot of Barbora's apartment lobby

The screen froze when Martin came out from the elevator at the lobby (see screenshot). When I load the saved game from Billy Bob, the game was saved at the exact checkpoint with one difference - there is a cursor and I could click on the entrance door to exit the building. The saved game that I use is save.6.

Thanks everyone! Cheers!

Hi mission and welcome to Gameboomers
welcome

Please double check and make sure you've done everything that was necessary in her apartment. Did you empty her purse? Did you click on all active hotspots?

Thanks, Texaslady.

Yes, I emptied her purse and checked all the hotspots. I did all the tasks in MaGtRo walkthrough. Actually, it would not let you leave through window or door if the password is not entered into the computer.

So now Martin is stuck in Barbora's apartment lobby.

What should I do now to move to the next scene?

No, that is not possible. There is no cursor. See attached screenshot. This is the part where Martin is escaping from the Police at Barbora's apartment. He should leave the building.

Maybe the game freezes. If there is no solution, can someone send me a saved game at this checkpoint: Center City Archive after escaping from the police at Barbora apartment.

Just bought this game yesterday and just got started. Thanks.

Oh, you're downstairs already.
Click on the door at right to exit the building.

Check the bulletin board near the front door.

If there's no cursor I assume you can't go back, go anywhere, so it sounds like the game has indeed frozen.

I have about 50 saves but do not know which is which. If you will EMail me I can send some and you can check them out if you like. laugh

Each save averages approximately 130 KB so tell me how many you want at a time.

I didn't do it......and if I did I'm not guilty!

Thanks, MaG.

I wish I can click on something, as I said there is no cursor.

I'm more inclined to think the game has frozen, I am running Vista.

I think I will just used a saved game to resolve this. I will email Billy Bob and see if he has a saved copy at this checkpoint.

Thanks Gobobby.

That won't help. The bulletin board will tell you where the attic key is. I've done that and got the attic key. I need to leave the building and head to Center City Archive.

Thanks, Billy Bob.

Yes, I can't go back, go anywhere. The game has indeed frozen and I think Vista is the culprit. I will go for a saved game solution just to make things simple.

I will send you a email regarding the saved games.

Thanks again.
