I've completed The Awakened and SH V Arsene Lupin and really enjoyed them. Could I please have a saved game for SH & The Silver Earing as I've never been able to complete the timed section where SH has to fill the bucket of water to put out the fire. I just get lost on all the forest paths. I downloaded the game (not sure if that makes a difference when you send a saved game). Thanks in advance.

The saved game is on the way and it does not make a difference on download from the frogwares shop.

I am near the end of the game in the Locked Room at the Aston Theatre.Does SH actually say "Ah, you need the 2 other earrings" after clicking the earring on the left silver wave as written in the walkthrough because I can only get him to say "I need something", and I'm wondering if this is why, when I return to the Audience Hall, I can't get Miss Carolyn to give the other two earrings after selecting the one in inventory. I've replayed the Aston Theatre from the start 3 times with the same result. - thanks for any help

Blackbird I think talking to various people is needed to get the other earrings/ Did you talk to Carolyn Small about the earring? Did you talk to the drunk lady about everything? Did you click the earring on Richards?

Thanks Sue. I've followed the walkthrough carefully, talked to everyone etc but can't progress so I'll leave if for a few days and have another try.

After you click the earring on the close up on the silver wave of the box on the floor, go back to the woman that is drunk.
Click on her and Holmes will say that he can't (he's a gentleman) or something like that.
Then talk to the actress on stage to help you get that sleeping-drunk woman's earring.

After the umpteenth time of going through the Aston Theatre section of the game, I finally did it. I'd followed your walkthrough ok but could not get dialogue going with the actress on stage so she would give the other two earrings. The trigger seemed to be in the direction Holmes approached the stage to talk to her. Sanity regained and game finished. Thanks for your help and encouragement.
