It's a nice game but in my opinion it's a bit of a letdown when compared to The Moment of Silence.

TMOS was well loved by many, so I don't think it would be quite fair to pit one against the other. Better instead I think to just appreciate the game for being extremely well orchestrated, logical and immersive.

I agree that comparing two games isn't fair nickie. Yes Overclocked has its pro's, the story is good, the gaming concept is innovative, graphics and sound are good. However somehow I had the feeling it didn't quite succeed in bringing all the elements together satisfyingly and I felt a bit disappointed at the end of the game.

TMOS was a good game, BUT it had its faults in my way of playing the game, so I'm hoping that Overclocked will do better by me, especially since I have it on order at Amazon. Now is not the time for me to be having negative thoughts about the game!

LOVED Moment of Silence. Have this one on order too, but now amazon's saying 3-5 weeks? Hope not! Any news?

I preordered Overclocked from Amazon.com and received an email this AM saying shipment delayed (game unavailable yet) to the first of May "same old, same old" hurry up and order then wait and wait and wait....

Dave has it 4/06 on interact cd. I've had it preorder for some time now.

I visited the Gamestop at 86th and Lex in NYC today to ask about Overclocked. They didn't have it, nor was it in their computer system yet. Which means that no Gamestop or Ebgames currently has it, or even knows when they will. According to the Lighthouse Interactive forum, the game shipped on time (March 31st), but can take 7 to 10 days to reach retailers...

Snatcher -- Overclocked may show up at Gamestop eventually, but my experience lately has been that Gamestop/EB Games seems to carry only about half the adventure games released. Best Buy and Circuit City seem to carry more of them. (Although I don't think the game has arrived there yet either.)

Yeah, I checked a Best Buy too (it was across the street ), and while they had a better AG collection there was no sign of Overclocked. Though their website has it listed for April 14th, so I'm not surprised.

Oh well, no biggie. It's just that this is #1 on my to-play list, and I was hoping to get to it soon since I have a week off.

A week off plus the game you've been anticipating = Paradise?

By the way, the Gamestop employee said that several people had asked about Overclocked. That's gotta be a good sign!

Can't be a bad sign. I hope it arrives in time for you to enjoy it at your leisure.

BTW -- from the brief glance at the trailer, it looks to me like the game does a great job of portraying New York City. Since you live there, (and once you start playing) I'm curious what you think of the realism of the environments.

Thought I would get a E-Mail from dave sometime today. As Hank Williams would say in his song--Just waiting. Interect doesn't even have it listed anymore. I wonder why.

I sent a e-mail to Dave and asked about the game and he sent me back a answer that it should be here tomorrow as soon as he get a confirmation he will put it on the New release.
