Yes, Black Mirror 2 and Still Life 2 are my two top at the list. Hopefully we can hear more definite news about BM 2. Thanks Becky.

That's great Trinny! Except for now having to compete for the computer time of course.

Just found this thread and wanted to share the following informations with you: In Anaconda's BM forum, we've had a report on last year's Game Convention taking place in Leipzig. Obviously, Anaconda/dtp were there as well and stated that the game will be 3rd person again. Also, it will be realtime-3D; no news on the controls, though - I hope they stick to point-and-click or, if they don't, develop keyboard controls that are easy to handle. From what I've heard about the story is that you'll be playing a female cop investigating some mysteries surrounding Black Mirror. And there's a screenshot: http://www.adventure-treff.de/images/bild.php?bild=features/gc2007_tag2_3.jpgDoesn't look like a woman to me but it's hard to say anything about the graphics or the game at all when there's only one screenshot I'm curious to see whether the game will be a sequel or more of a prequel; and I hope it will clear up some questions I've had in my mind after finishing the first game

It seems they have changed the story as well - after last year's Game Convention dtp announced that the game will feature a female cop investigating the mysteries surrounding Black Mirror. Apparently, they changed that; according to the latest press release, BM2 will be set in den 1990s, 12 years after the events in the original game. Once again, the character we can play is a guy; his name is Darren and he's working in the small town Biddeford in New England. There he meets british girl Angelina; soon he realises that someone is following her and that there's a mystery surrounding her. He does what every good adventure hero does in such a situation: He begins to investigate. And his investigations soon lead him to Willow Creek in England and locations we all know from the original Black Mirror. I think this sounds and looks really promising and I'm pretty glad they switched to 2,5D instead of full 3D. The new screenshots just look a lot better than the one I posted earlier in the thread, and I like the story outline. Not that I would have minded playing a female cop but this sounds much more interesting And I appreciate that dtp takes the fans' opinions seriously and includes them in the process insofar as they listen to the fans and try to make a game that will make the fans happy. Release will be in 2009.

Whoo hoo! I'm really glad they're going with 2.5 instead of 3D. Looking forward to this one even more now. Thank you for the update!

This news has made me very happy. The screenshots are wonderful! (It's lovely to see that the weather is still as dismally torrential!) Thanks to everyone for the updates.
