I just finished Syberia 2 and have to thank MaG for the great walkthorough... without which I never could have completed the game. The puzzles in Syberia 1 were easier and I was proud to have accomplished a few with out the WT but Syberia 2, I needed it. In fact, I played the last part with mouse in one hand and the WT in the other. I enjoyed the game just as much even with the cheating because you got to experience everything and so what if you didn't know how to solve it yourself. I probably could have if I had 10 years to spend thinking about it. It was, by far, the best adventure game I've played yet. Now why isn't there a Syberia 3??? Story could be about getting Kate Walker back to NY. I'd love to see her tell that cheating boyfriend off. I feel sort of lost without Syberia to play. <sob> I was going to trade them but think now I'll just keep them to play again next year. P.S. I especially liked the little boy in Syberia 1, he reminded me of my clever little autistic grandson, Tyler.

Yes... I feel that way when I finish a good book too! Sadness that I won't be with these folks anymore. Like leaving behind good friends.

Yes, yes, yes! Good books and good games (in my adorable opinion, of course!) always leave me feeling lost and sad and wishing I was starting, not finishing. Then again, it is still better than being glad that the end was FINALLY reached even if it is a relief to be done with it.
To love is to be happy with!

My toughest spot in Syberia 2 was at the end, trying to get that music to play!

Trippy, I hope it's more than a rumour...that would be great! NYLady, S1 & 2 are definitely keepers. I'm replaying S1 at the moment and loving it all over again. I remember that puzzle in S2! These games stay in your memory for a long time. Glad you enjoyed them. Mary

Check out Target, Jane. I went there looking for a new Nancy Drew and found the double pack-- Syberia 1 and 2, Game of the Year edition. It was marked $10.00. I found that hard to believe so I took it to the register and asked her to check the price before she rang it up. (I didn't know what a great game it was so wasn't going to pay more than 10 for it.) She checked and said... "You are right, it isn't ten dollars... It's $2.69." Yep, I took it. Not sure if it was an error or what. Maybe it was discounted because it is older. But you might check.

NY Lady, I've been checking the Targets as well as Best Buy, Comp USA (which is closing), Game Spot, and Game Crazy. Most don't have a hugh selection of PC Adventure Games (except those, of course, that are about fighting.) I went into a Hollywood Video Game Crazy and asked if they had any Adventure Games for PC and the sales guy actually laughed. Oh Well--But I'll keep looking. By the way, I can't complete any game without a walkthrough, either. So thanks to all of you who can write walkthrough's. You're are the best. Jane

Such a shame Ma5icshell, I just gave away 16 of my games at the Trading Post and Syberia 2 was among them. Try Amazon.Com and see if they have it--you might find one new or used. It could be worth a shot.

Jane, did you ask at any of the stores if they could order it for you? Or check at InteractCD; there's a link at the top of this page. Or start a thread in the trading post asking for the game. Good Luck

That game was so well done it makes the others look like an old Mickey Mouse cartoon. I loved the characters, the story, the graphic and the voice acting was A1. I'm playing Keepsake now and the voice acting is terrible. They sound like they are reading. The game itself is OK but the voices are driving me crazy. So phoney. Really irritating.

Are you also a sensitive person Darleen? I am too. I cry so hard during movies, weddings and funerals... sometimes even during patriotic songs. I always cry at parades or any ceremony. I get so embarrassed, but maybe it isn't such a bad thing.
Anyway, you'd think... if a company were smart... they would see all the money they COULD make if they would only make another one!!!!!
Just my honest opinion.
