First, I want to thank Magtro for his wonderful walkthrough.
This is my first time playing the Watchmaker, so I have been following his to the letter and it is spot on. Really enjoying the game.

I am so close to finishing it up so I hope someone can help.

I am stuck and think I am just missing something.
I am at the point where Victoria has just finished making the star in the Watchmakers study. I cannot find an easy/obvious way to get back into the Leylines room. How do you get back to that bas relief with the star cavitys?

Please - I hope you are not going to tell me have to sneak by that dude and his gun again. That took several tries for me to finally position her correctly, run fast enough and was a major pain the the butt to do. She opened that one staircase once she got past, saw Dukes body and got the lighter, so it should be a matter of finding that opening again and getting in there that way, no? I just can't find where or how!

Sort of related - has anyone constructed a detailed map of the Labryinth?

It's been a while, here goes.
You are at the study. Exit to be at the corridor.
Across you is that room with gears and chop-chop.
To the left is continuation of the hallway to the astrologium and right is the exit out of here.
Go left in that corridor and you shoul be (I hope) at the room with a big clock - astrologium.
At right in that room should be the passage that you exited out from the room with the dead person. Keep us posted.
