I'm stuck in Act 5 of Al Emmo when Billy is trying to hang himself. I am supposed to use the matchbook on the ropes but don't have it in inventory and can't find one anywhere. I did get the first one from the saloon but must have dropped it someplace after that or forgotten it after making the Blazin Kevin??? Anyone have advice on what I can do to get the matchbook back? Or a save to get me past this point would also be greatly appreciated. smile Thanks!

The only book of matches that I remember Aln was on the bar in the saloon.
Can you go back and see if for some reason they are there?
I have no saves for this game any longer....sorry

Thanks but the matches are no longer there. I've checked the bar thoroughly numerous times. Maybe the gopher stole them in that scene. I will try checking there. If not, I guess it's backtrack or give up. smile Thanks again.

Hi aln,

If the inventory's the scrolling type, have you checked that there are no items that have "fallen" off the edge of the scroll? That's happened to me before. With an inventory that's stuffed full, quite often you can't see all your items on one line.

Don't give up aln, try Rushes suggestion. I don't remember the inventory being overly full but it's worth shot.
Don't give up on the game though, if you can make that silly drink, you can beat the game too.
