Please someone help me get the frying pan from Murphy. I have spoken to him and he offered me anything in his bag, but there is no take icon for his backpack. I can see the two pouch looking items on the side of the backpack,but no icon comes up that says "take" and there appears to be nothing to take at the back of Murphy's backpack. What am I to do next? i retraced the walkthru and have followed it exactly until now. Thanks in advance.

Ugh. I don't know where Vista's saved game folder is located.
I can send you a saved game with Jack and Shari and frying pan now.
Ask at Glitches or do a search there to find out where the save folder is located. In my game, it is located in My Documents. See if Vista has it there too.

Edit.........I copied it on word pad and if you want I will send it to you as an attachment. Thanks for the save game to get me past this point.

It doesn't work that way. I have to have 2 files: one picture and one the data file to make one saved game. I need the original.

Anyhow - I have sent you the saved game.
Also - to get the frying pan. Be sure that you have talked completely with Murphy. He will give advice for Shari.
Then you can right click the 'take frying pan' from his pack.
He moves around so be sure that it is those words at the bottom - then click immediately. on either doing it yourself or the saved game.

MaG, I sent you where I am stuck with Murphy and getting frying pan. Resending hoping this works. I haven't been able to figure out how to get your save game to work. Let me know if sending the saves works for you please.

Your gave has a glitch. The frying pan is not hanging down the backpack. I made a new saved game and sent it to you.
Download and unzip the attached saved game.
Then place the 2 files inside the saved folder.
Play-load as usual. Have fun.

I am in receipt of the PC game "Jack Kean" which arrived today with no instructions on how to install it. I have windows XP and when I inserted the disc into the disc drive nothing happens. Has anybody else had this problem? Can anyone help me to load this game?

Go to the drive that the game is in, look for an install or setup file and install from there.

I am not remembering, is this a DVD game?

Can't get the game to continue to play at the start where Jack is tied up. It says in the w/t to talk to anyone of the thugs. When I do this Jack only says " He's only half as horrid as his boss" and when I click on the other one Jack says "Apparently I still have a few debts to pay" and the thug doesn't hit him anymore so that the chair will move back. Am I missing something? Need some help.

Have you right clicked the thugs?
Have you selected insulting dialogues?

Need help. I'm stuck.Chpt. VI Cannot find a sack of meat-eating Tooth Island Plant seeds (gold) Could it be in the chest covered by vines? I tried using the knife but that won"t work. Any suggestions?

It's in the same room as the vine covered chest. You just have to put your mouse cursor over to the left a bit and you should see a vine covered door. Use your knife on that and grab both sets of seeds and what ever else you can take.
