I will be 57 very shortly and I love adventure games. I play the casual game, once in awhile. I have a lot of HOGs from BF and I enjoy them too and play online also. I have no kids, and am on my own (except for my cat). She may play some of these games better than me LOL. Have fun with your games everyone.

I'm 73 & started out playing adventure games, with the help of wonderful MaG's WTs, s well as others. Then I discovered CGs & am totally addicted to them, & am constantly buying from Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Amazon.com. Then I save them for my children & grandchildren since they say they will be playing them when they retire. So I have started 2 more generations on PC games!!!

KEEP'EM COMING!!!

I just turned 50 yesterday and am a female, so I guess I am the "average" Ha! Been playing since borrowing a Zelda cartridge from my nephew when he was a kid and playing it on my son's NES. Soon I found Zork and Myst, got a computer and the addiction was born.

The best part is going to Best Buy or Frys and being in the aisle with all the "kids" my son's age (25) and they are wondering why I am trying to get some "shelf space" with them. Then the customer service guy has to come and "help" me and I start talking games and requirements, gigs, video cards, etc. Then their mouth drops and my husband says, "Don't look at me, she's the geek!"

A few days ago, my son called me for advice on downloading pictures, told his friends, "My mom knows how to do that, I'll call her" Finally some respect! rotfl

Hi all,
I'm 74 and have been playing, casual and adventure games for some time. I keep my three computers linked so I can play the new ones or any of the older games that happen to catch my fancy. I still work part time (to pay for my toys). I have been a widow for 20 years but the games and computers keep me busy. I come here to see what my friends are doing and saying.
Waiting for Limbo of the Lost, and trying to beat quest for Alantis with out using any of the extras I win.

Turn 50 in June and like variety so play most types though not into match 3 much. Have been thinking about a magazine though thinking is the operative word. Don't know anything about the business. Just got a title: Cafe Gaming--Casual, Adventure, Family Entertainment. With all the internet access not sure a store copy would sell since lot of the info would already be known.

Hi acornia
I also thought about a magazine, but everything I could ever want, e.g. reviews, hints and tips, walkthroughs, opinions, tech help, etc, etc, is already here on GB's at the click of my mousey. rotfl wave

One of the main reasons am dithering. Rarely does a game hit the shelves without someone here having already posted it.

Okay, I am 57 and play games most of the time. I have no kids, just a cat. Now, tell me, what is more important than the computer games? Enjoy.

hi Looney, Winfrey.
I'm not sure how I did it but got though Alantis Quest. I have 7 hammers 5 spades 2 extra lives, and & lamps left, but only 3 lives, some times when you loose a life (maybe the computer feels sorry for you)you get extra items. I wonder if I keep the lives and items and continue what will happen. I still don't know how I did it, but must admit I have played it over and over for some time.
