Hi, I am nearly 65 and started playing the text adventure games like, "Leather Goddesses of the Planet Phobos" and other infocom games. I love BFG!! I got both my sister and sister-in-law hooked!! BF Guy keep up the good work! BTW, there is no wrong gender! This is a happy, welcoming place for everyone.
Happy Trails! HorseDancer

I just turned 50 yesterday and am a female, so I guess I am the "average" Ha! Been playing since borrowing a Zelda cartridge from my nephew when he was a kid and playing it on my son's NES. Soon I found Zork and Myst, got a computer and the addiction was born. The best part is going to Best Buy or Frys and being in the aisle with all the "kids" my son's age (25) and they are wondering why I am trying to get some "shelf space" with them. Then the customer service guy has to come and "help" me and I start talking games and requirements, gigs, video cards, etc. Then their mouth drops and my husband says, "Don't look at me, she's the geek!" A few days ago, my son called me for advice on downloading pictures, told his friends, "My mom knows how to do that, I'll call her" Finally some respect! Koalanut
So many games, so little time....

Turn 50 in June and like variety so play most types though not into match 3 much. Have been thinking about a magazine though thinking is the operative word. Don't know anything about the business. Just got a title: Cafe Gaming--Casual, Adventure, Family Entertainment. With all the internet access not sure a store copy would sell since lot of the info would already be known.

Hi acornia I also thought about a magazine, but everything I could ever want, e.g. reviews, hints and tips, walkthroughs, opinions, tech help, etc, etc, is already here on GB's at the click of my mousey.

One of the main reasons am dithering. Rarely does a game hit the shelves without someone here having already posted it.
