Chapter II. In one of Ray's memory recall sessions, he's looking for something from Cliff but cannot remember what it is. It turns out to be a sticky note that Cliff had on his wall behind the door. I confess that I looked at the W/T to find out the answer and now I'm confused as to how I (as Ray) was supposed to figure this part out. I realize Ray had a note with him but what clues were there that it came from Cliff. You don't see the clip of Cliff putting the note on the wall until after Ray's session and at no time did Ray get to look in Cliff's room. What am I missing??

Hi LadyLinda, I wish I could help but haven't gotten to this part of the game yet. Someone will be here shortly, I'm sure.

Not quite sure what you're asking LL. You look around quickly when you get in Cliff's room, and the sticky is the only thing that's clickable. Or am I misunderstanding your question?

Hi nickie, No you're not misunderstanding my question and I guess you just answered it. Let me explain. So far, I've found the game to be pretty logical in giving hints and clues to move the story along and then comes this part and Ray is just wandering and wondering what it is that Cliff has. So it turns out that the solution was a 2 second pixel hunt. Had we gotten the Cliff memory of the note prior to Ray's then it would have made more sense to me and at least been a helpful hint. I was looking to see if maybe I had missed some clue and so I had to ask. Thanks for the responses.

nickie and LadyLinda, thanks for talking about the sticky in Cliff's room. Darleen sent me a save (Thanks) 2 weeks ago and did not know what to do in the game. I am now able to move on. Chief

Well, you know the activity has to surround Cliff, and Cliff won't let you in the room, and previously you have the sticky in the third flashback (and you don't know where the sticky came from).

Adorable, What happens when you try to go to the hospital? Are you stuck in the hotel? Did you call Moretti?

Have you talked to the porter completely - including about the broken mirror in your room?

I'm at the pier, I've picked up the handcuffs from the hotel and went back to the pier. I've called Moretti (I tried to call him again but got he's not there). I have the clue that he left. I don't know what else I'm missing. I've also reported the broken mirror. When I try to return to the hospital I don't get the ferry.

Are you sure that you're clicking in the right area, Adorable? As I recall, there are two places you can click at on the ferry building: one is for the building itself, and the other is for the ferry entrance. Easy to confuse them, and it got me too, once or twice.

OK, I'll give that a try. I had the Ferry Building and the Ferry Building Entrance, but I never double clicked on the building entrance. I'll let you know if that works. Thanks!!! Yes, that did it!! Thank you so much! I should have thought of that myself, but duh!!!!
