Hi!

I'm stuck at the end of chapter 4 and after browsing various forums I've come to the conclusion that it's a bug in the game. So is anyone here who has a save game at the end of chapter 4 or the beginning of 5? My email is 'EDITED out.'

Maybe you can tell us what is the problem? Do you still see the car in the garage? Have you talked to Emily Brester?

The car is still in the garage (I already fixed it) Emely brewster and Christine Redfern are nowhere to be found.

That's the problem. The car should be gone after you fixed it and exited the garage.
Try going back to a saved game before you fixed the car.
Go to the village. Do what you need to do.
Fix the car going out, not before going in to the village.
Then after you fixed it, exit the garage. Go back inside the garage and see if it is still there. If gone, continue with the game and you can proceed.

I am having the same problem as Skurken and the others. I have tried everything you suggested MaG. Nothing is working. The car is still in the garage and there isnt anyone back at Seadrift island. It has been a very frustating game. So will you please send me a saved game also.
