When you come forward to the gramophone, you can see the potted plant at the wall in the background. After you turn the gramophone crank, grab the potion as soon as you can and immediately double-RIGHT-click the POT. (Don't try to click the plant - - it's too hard.) Amanda should run over there and administer the potion.

Save needed please Jack Keane we are on stage 1 after we untie the rope and the 2 thugs are on the rope we cannot pick up the broom or anything jack justs walks off the platform and does not come back is this a glitch in the game? The only option we have is go to there is no options for look or use.

Are you right clicking to do the action parts like picking up?
The left click is to move or info only. Try that.

yes we are right clicking to do the options it will not change from go to after the lift goes down we even picked up the broom before the rope untie it will let us pick up the broom but when we right click it just stays on go to Jack walks off the lift and go into the wall you can see his shadow under the platform the X key does not work after the rope untie. I need some save games please to see if it plays up anywhere else in the game.

It sounds like a positioning problem. I know that I had to work on looking dor a place and the active spots close to and in that platform. Move around and see where the active spots are.
I have to check if I have one where you need it.
Check your e-mail in a moment for one that I can find.

Hi there We could not get the game to work at all even with the saves. it seems that our game got corrupted by our anti virus programe because we uninstalled and reinstalled with anti virus disabled it it was working as soon as we re enabled anti virus the game stop again. What can i do please?

If it works when you disable your antivirus, you'll have to play it that way.

Also disable or turn off power to your modem.

I noticed that too, and I thought that maybe there's something wrong with my old graphic card, because it's not mentioned in any review or post (except this one).

To be more specific, I found that sometimes a hotspot doesn't have an asterisk at all, sometimes there are two asterisks for one hotspot, and sometimes there's an asterisks on a hotspot-less spot...

Here is a good example from Chapter XII:

The asterisk on the left is on a hotspot-less spot, and in addition there are several hotspots in the plane area, including Amanda, that completely lack asterisks.

So is this a problem just me and BillyBob encountered, or is it like this in every version of the game on any PC configuration?
