I downloaded this game from BFG a few days ago and then deleted it in order to wait to see what BFG does with the timer. I just downloaded it today and in the options is a time/untimed option and then when I started it, it popped up a window asking me for timed or untimed play. So I am off to see if I want to spend my game credit on this game. Chances are I probably will, it looks like a lot of people are enjoying this game. Thanks BFG!!! Koalanut

You are quite welcome L4L! I loved the game. the hour went so quickly and so did my game credit! Hats off to everyone that played it with the timer. I don't know how you did it! Koalanut

I was thinking I would like this game with no timer, so now that it is off,I am definitely going to get it. I like taking my own sweet time and it is okay with me if that means I lose points (If that is how the game works.) as I'm not interest in them anyway.
To love is to be happy with!

I'm glad BF has the new version because I never got an answer from Frogware...

to GameBoomers Kim. Does the following help at all? Downloaded the patch. Unzipped or extract the rar-compressed folder. Open the folder. Took or copy the inside folder labeled 001 out of the outer 001 folder. - Careful - there is an outer 001 and inner 001 folder. Use the inner one. Opened the ......\Sherlock Holmes - The Mystery of the Persian Carpet folder. Pasted the inside 001 folder in that Persian carpet folder. Played the game.
There are now 2 possible ways for you to go through: 1. If you select New Game - you automatically get a choice of timed or untimed when you click New GAme. 2. If you open an old game. - See the Main Menu. - You will see OPTIONS. Select Options on the right side. - Then Select Play untimed. Accept or Back. - Then back on the Main Menu, select Resume. - Select a place to go to in the map and you will see that the timer is set at 00:00. - Play a bit and then exit as usual.

Hey MaG, since they were able to change the timer on SH Persian Carpet on BFG, is there any chance of ever changing it on Azada? I loved the demo, but I hated the timer, so I didn't buy it. I love to do puzzles like that, but don't want to be watching a clock, knowing I will never have enought time for all the puzzles in that level. Koalanut

Koalanut, you would have to write the developers. We are fortunate that the developers of Sherlock are members here and big in the Adventure game industry. They aim to please. It doesn't hurt to ask the Azada team. Ana

Good idea, I googled the game, and I noticed that Gamezebo lists BFG as publisher and developer. So I am off to write an email. Ana!!! Koalanut

That is an unfortunate decision. I'm pretty certain it isn't a major project to do so. Sorry Koala, it's a great game. Ana

If I use these instructions, do I want to open or save this file? When the free 7zip website come up, which 7zip should I chose for this download. This is in regard to the timed/untimed game. I have been having a problem following the instructions. I must be doing something wrong. Thanks for your reply. Wibley

I always save to desktop and then follow the rest of the instructions. If you haven't started the game yet, you can delete your game and reinstall the new version off BigFish. It already is patched for you. Ana
