Hi Guys...

I'm thinkin' I'm cookin' along pretty good with this game until I got inside the head of the skull and I need to put three figurines on the map, so it seems. I have all the figurines, but one of them (peg leg) is broken. I can't get out of here to try to make a fire to fix the figurine for one thing. The other problem is that my inventory is completely full as is the assembly area (with two white sheep horns) and I am literally stuck. I can't fix the broken figurine and the inventory is the biggest enigma of the game....LOL wink I guess I don't understand how to get more inventory slots?

Help!

Thanks a lot, Witchen smile

Hi Witchen,

There are I think 4 or 5 frames for the inventory. There tabs on the top and you can click to open them.
The assembly is for accumulating your items. You can take them out individually and place them on the inventory slots or click the auto button and they will all be placed in the slots. To do them individually is a way to arrange them the way you want.

As for the figurines - you have to fix it first. Have you been across to the other side of the chasm already?
There's also a (I think) tree that will help you fix the statuette. It has something you need.

Hi there, Mags... wave

Thanks for the input.
Here's the deal. I am across on the other side of the chasm and I have the pot of pitch that I used in the skull cave to repair the other figurine a ways back. However, the one with the peg leg, I broke with the mallet and now it won't work on the map in the head of the skull cave without being reassembled. But, I can't get out of the skull cave now to use the pot of pitch on a fire somewhere....

As for the inventory I keep clicking on the tabs (all of em', in fact) but the inventory frame doesn't change and its full. I've read the manual and all, but I must be missing something. Might be best to go back to an earlier save game, because I'm "dead ended."

Thanks again, Witchie lol

Witchen,

Just a review for me about the figurines:

You fixed the broken fogurine earlier.
You placed the 2 figurine in the skull cave.
You made a fire and see the shadows on the wall.
Then you used the mallet on the hook, then pegleg, then dagger and lastly on the pistol shadow on the wall.
You get a horn. You picked up the 2 figurines you laid by the fire.

See if you can pick up the 2 figurines (one broken) and see if you can get out of the cave then. You can try to use resin this time from the tree.

I will see if I can find a picture of the inventory.

Hi Mags...Thanks a bunch for the detail. I have placed the hook figurine and one other on the map. Its the peg leg guy that is broken.

I haven't done the fire or the shadows on the wall scenario. I will go back and try to do all that and see if I can pick up the broken peg leg figurine and get out of the cave. Whew. wink

Thanks again, Witchen smile

The numbers are the tab that opens another inventory frame.
Then you can click on the 'auto' button at right to place your items in those inventory frames:
Inventory frame.

Good luck on the figurine.

HI Everyone: Just started awesome graphics, so goo I can't find the RUSTY KNIFE. I got the wheel off the mast. Let me know with some land marks, where I can see the rusty knife.

Please Advise:

GoGirl,

I checked MaG's WT, it says "Cafe Fear: Take the rusty knife from the lodestone." Sorry I can't help any more than that. wave

GG,

If you landed on Cape Fear and had a shipwreck - the rusty knife is on top of that big boulder (lodestone) on the beach. The mast is to the right of that.

Hi Mags....I haven't been back to try working through the problem with the broken peg leg figurine yet. But, and thanks for the graphics of the inventory window, the problem is that my inventory...all 5 rows...is full as well as the assembly window and the little "Auto" box. How do I open more space, or how do I move inventory to make more room. I've tried combining, but that doesn't work to any helpful degree. I guess I'm still missing something, though I've checked both the manual and the read me....I have to be....LOL oops
Thanks a bunch.

Witchen praise

The numbers in MaG's picture do not indicate the rows; they indicate where the TABS are that you click on to open new sets of inventory storage. Give it a try by clicking where her numbers are. The tabs were almost invisible on my game so I'm figuring you have the same problem. laugh

Hooray, Billy Bob! bravo

Thanks ever so much! I'll admit that I feel like a double dork dummy, but you're ever so right that the tabs are virtually invisible... confused

Thanks to you and to Mags for the help. catrub

Happy gamin', Witchen

Don't feel bad about the TABs thing. You're not the only one to have that very same problem with finding them.

Glad to see you're back on the road again......even if you were in the swamp. laugh
