[quote=Mad]Hi "Interesting how many peeps on this thread are going back to the 80s and early 90s for their favourive games. Probably says something about our average age !!!!" Or maybe pinpointing an era when exceptionally good games were made You are right about that Mad Frances

I just finished playing Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None! I think it is the best one I've played, yet. It is the second adventure game I played.
Currently playing- Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis Just finished playing- Agatha Christie: Evil Under The Sun

That's a great game, IPlayTS3, and my favourite of the Agatha Christie series so far. Will you be playing Evil Under the Sun next?

New poster here, but my adventure playing days go back to Myst. I tend to prefer first person games--especially spooky or surreal ones, so for me, the games I have the best memories of are:
Lights Out Darkfall Shivers Barrow Hill Riven Obsidian Scratches Alida
more or less in that order.
I have a feeling Sublustrum will find its way onto that list eventually.
A cut below those I'd put Myst, AMBER:Journeys Beyond, Morpheus and Celtica.

Best really depends of the time I played the games, considering this here is my list:
Zork I King's Quest (I think the first) Myst I Black Dahlia Gabriel Knight I Gabriel Knight II Gabriel Knight III Moment of Silence The Longest Journey Syberia I
If real is what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain

Here are my favorites: Black Mirror Syberia Syberia 2 Secret Files Tunguska Sherlock Holmes The Awakened NiBiRu The Agatha Christie Games( But there is a lot of walking in some of them) Ones I have started to play and didn't really like but heard a lot of people like is the Longest Journey and Dreamfall. Two others I couldn't get into is Diamonds in The Rough and Mysterious Island. I did play Keepsake all the way through it was OK. But everyone has there own likes and dislikes. Right now I have 3 games ready for me to play and one is on its way to my house from Dave at Interact, I don't know which one to play first. Overclocked Sherlock Holmes Nemesis Art of Murder: FBI Confidential Dracula Origin
