Just played a little of the German demo nice and smooth controls.
Didn't know what I was doing. Mouse control. Nice graphics.

I will gladly play the demo in German...As long as I know the interface is what I like..

Richard said the controls were smooth. He was then stating that it uses the mouse (point and click). No worries.

Got this this morning. Graphically its very nice, tho there are a few animation glitches like at the start where you talk to some cops or whatever they are. Also the walking and running animations are a bit all over the place. The interface is normal i guess left click do right click examine but i miss the hover text you get in other games like TMOS where when you place a cursor over something it tells you what it is i think. Not sure if its my monitor but the subtitles are very hard to read as there not very bright and i don't like the font used.

I'm at the start and i'm left with a world where i dunno who i am really and no idea what im suppose to do in the beginning i have turned some power thing on and that's about it so far. The game didn't do a good job of explaining who i am or my immediate goals.

Game looks great but I might wait for an independent review - the one cited above is from a German site and might tend to support a local developer. Noticed they were pretty effusive about Overclocked too.

Mass Effect (PC) is also out soon so two exciting sci fi games to chose from.

Here's a bit of background on the Perry Rhodan "universe" for anyone who is curious. We also have an interview with the game's developers in the works, which should provide more background and context for the game.

Skeeter, I am past the first level of the game and have no glitches other than an erratic curser when you open up your wristband.

You are Perry Rhodan...the dialogue walks you through and explains everything. If you want your goals just click on the wristband. So far I found it quite simple except for a lot of walking. I give it two thumbs up so far for it's puzzles, since they make sense and are of a challenging yet logical sequence if you pay attention to his thoughts and dialogue.

THe manual has a whole background in it as well and is nicely laid out.

(Please forgive me if I get the game from a UK store rather than from InteractCD - the Atlantic Ocean makes a difference.)

Duno if its being mentioned yet but for fans of broken sword series, georges voice in particular. Well the main character in this game is the same voice actor.
