I’m completely stuck in the Spicy Sarsaparilla drinking duel with Whiskers in Wanted: A Wild Western Adventure. No matter how hard I try, I can’t figure out exactly what I’m supposed to do. I know this is probably a simple thing but I guess I can’t think good enough to do it right now. blush I’m getting frustrated with this and wondered if anyone has a save that they would be willing to send me to get me past the drinking duel with Fatty. I would really appreciate it as I am getting sick of trying to figure this out and can’t seem to do it.
Thanks and Happy Memorial Day to members in the USA!

Hi aln,
Try this LINK and see if it helps you. I don't have a save for this so I hope you stick with it and win. Its do-able.

I’m stuck again – this time I can’t get the fairman to duel me. He keeps saying maybe later. I used the save to get past the shooting gallery and then followed the walkthrough on this site. Any suggestions to possible other triggers? Should I try to go ahead and come back to this later? I do have the dynamite permit – forged by Tom. Getting it was the last thing I did. I also sent the phony telegrams and talked to the Sheriff and the storeowner.

I had this reply on my thread asking for a save but since I wasn't sure if anyone was looking at it since I had gotten unstuck before, I am starting a new thread. Please delete or move this if this was not an acceptable thing to do and accept my apologies. Hopefully someone can help me, though.

aln,

Is the fairman there in the saloon? If so and you got the rifle in inventory, you can just accept his challenge.
You can also use the dynamite now if you want. luck

I got the fairman to duel me (was paying too much for the dynamite permit) but am stuck trying to duel Shorty. I can't get the right answers to show up. Can anyone give me more detailed instructions than the w/t for how to duel the fairman? I think this is where I'm going wrong. (I know the w/t is very helpful with this but I just can't seem to comprehend :)) Thanks! I will try again on my own, though, too and maybe can figure it out.
