MaG,
Can't get outside to try, all doors to outside say that the weather is too bad...I am somewhere in CH 3...don't know what day...I still need to do a few other outside things, water the goat, Orchard, Ruined Village, but cant get out... I could go to a previous save...but I loath the idea of having to redo all that dialog with each guest...gathering the other items I need from outside, not a challenging feat anyway, would not lose much gameplay if like the save Rushes offered, in the saferoom, prior to the Grotto WITH the shovel, that would be great...you see how new I am, need instructions on receiving saves...ROXX

Roxx,
The save was sent to the e-mail address listed in your profile. I haven't received an undeliverable message, so it should be on its way if not already with you. If you prefer not to use the save just let us know and we'll try and work out your problem another way.

Hi, Roxx. Yes, when the guy said "the shed is empty" The scene changed to the dining room. I had no control...and the shed was far from empty. I never bothered to erase any saved games so I just noodled around till I found the one just previous and went back got there, emptied the shed and watered the goat. I will go in and try to make cider now. Good luck to us both!!!

Hi bettybetty,
Is it possible to look at the map from a different angle in the room? Is there more than one map on the wall? I don't have the game loaded, otherwise I would check for you.

Sometimes going back to a previous save will unstick you from problems with hotspots, etc. Are you close enough to a previous save that you can go back and retry the section in the study?
It isn't critical that the General gets the walking stick, I played through the whole game once without giving it to him.

I keep getting stuck inside the mansion. I want to know 3 things....I can't raise and lower the screen, I know it's not necessary but I wanna. Vera's room in wlkthru: 2 knights to protect her ??? I have all the stuff for the bees and honey, but I am stuck inside. Again I know I don't have to I don't want to miss the fun. I have my cider...I have taken my raft ride gone to both vlg's. Just don't know how to get outside ...again. I have gone back to saves twice, please tell me I don't have to do that again. I know it's impossible to tell you all I have done so I'm not sure what to say to enable you to help me.

Hi Doris,
The "two knights" are other characters within the game who arrive on the scene.
Is there a cord attached to the screen somehow that you can pull?
A couple other ideas to get you unstuck:
When you were at the ruined village, did you pick up (and read) the Bones card by the celtic cross? Did you also pick up the fishing net?
Have you checked out the dice box on the table in the Game Room? (This can only be discovered after reading the Bones card.)
