How do I cross the pond to the Hippo's to see if the drain is clogged? I tried using the beam but it doesnt work. Is water supposed to be coming out of them? I dont know if I'm having a good day or a bad day? I dont have anything to walk on in my inventory, so can I swim?

There is something you can pick up in the secret observatory that you can use. smile

You do want water to flow through.

Maggie,

This is Cleopatra, Riddle of the Tomb. It is not a Big Fish game.

Glad you finished, catsmom.

I am trying to find the bracelet. I have a broken necklace but that doesn't work. she says she lost her bracelet in the garden, I have looked but cannot find it. Any help would be appreciated. This was a bad day I guess since the poison didn't work the first time.

msblue, Mag's WT says

Turn around and pick Iris' precious bracelet from the ground.

Cleopatra - Riddle of the Tomb: Anyone out there know how to finish baking the 2 clay molds for the Ushabti figurine? I place the molds into the furnace and wait, and wait... and wait.
Every time I take the molds out with the tongs, they still show as "unbaked". The only hint I get is "Lets monitor the baking of this piece". What am I missing?

Gamerboy, have you tried putting more leaves on the fire to build it up? Try it a couple of times and then see if that will bake the figurines.

Hi Riceburner,

The game will not allow me to add any more leaves, just coal to the fire which is burning at a low level (mostly coals).
Anything else I should try to get these to bake?

Thanks for help!

Gamerboy, is there any way to fan it? I don't remember but often times those puzzles have a bellows around?

HI,

I have looked around the workshop but don't see anything that could be used as a bellows. Nothing in inventory either.
The fire is burning, but no clues are given as to when the clay pieces are done. Thanks for your suggestions!

What I did here is to place leaves first, then add coal as much I can until he says that's enough - maybe 3-4 loads of coal. Light it and bake. It works and I don't need to add anything else.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I will have to go back to a prior save, as there appears no way to put a burning fire out, to start again. In my scenario, adding copious amounts of coal to an already smouldering fire appears to do nothing. No audio clue like in your scenario.
My mistake may have been in not adding enough coal just after lighting the fire. In my old saved game, after lighting the coal fire I can add coal and the fire flares up, in the "current" game the fire never dies (and doesn't bake anything)! Perhaps a bug in the game. I will play from my save point, light the fire later on following your procedure, and see what happens. Thanks!

Hi MaG...
Replaying the game from a save point BEFORE starting any fire in the workshop, and starting a fire only once I had all the pieces in inventory (visited the library), it worked! The trick is to keep adding coal to the lit fire before you place the clay mold in, as suggested by you. Thanks for the help!

Somehow, I managed to start a fire which burned constantly without more coal, but would not "cook" the clay molds.
Bye for now!
