Just saw Sam & Max: Season 1 (Jewel Case $8.77) at Walmart. I purchased it immediately.

Here is a list of games I saw at Walmart:

Sam & Max: Season 1, Jewel Case $8.77
Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis, $18.68
Overclocked, $28.68

I guess the next adventure game coming out is Dracula Origin. Anyone who sees Dracula Origin at any store, please reply here.

Mission -- if that's the same Sam & Max: Season 1 Jewel Case as here in the US, it's only the first three episodes, not all of Season One. It should say on the jewel case.

I WISH my local Walmart had SH: Nemesis and Overclocked!

You are right, Becky! I am not familiar with the Sam & Max games. Yes, it is only Season 1: Episode 1-3.

It's a good price at Walmart here - $8.77, most other stores would sell it for $9.99.

Thanks! Just thought it should be clear.

I think your Walmarts do a better job with adventure games than ours do. frown

I didn't see that game at Walmart here. Guess I'll have to check again. Thanks for the info.

I find I can get most of my games at Walmart, whereas stores like Future Shop and Best Buy seem to have very few Adventure Games.

I also buy at Amazon.ca when I am desperate and can't wait to get a used copy at Gameboomers. If you buy two games the shipping is usually free.

We have a couple of Walmarts here (Ottawa). Couln't find it, but I will keep trying. I have Mystery of the Mummy and Silver Earring, but not the others you mentioned.

Orchid girl - You're right about Future Shop. They have next to nothing there.

Tammy, Sad to hear your Walmart does not carry those titles. One of the things you can do is to write to them. I have on past occassions written to them enquiring/requesting for certain titles and informing them of future releases. You can write to the Customer Service of Walmart Canada at the following:

http://www.walmart.ca/wps-portal/storelocator/Canada-CustomerService.jsp

Futureshop: They have few games there. I do see games like The Experiment, Next Life, Culpa Innata and Runaway 2. The futureshop.ca site has a in-store stock check so you can actually find out which Futureshop store has the game. Like now, I can see Ottawa South store has stock for The Experiment.

BestBuy: Same case as Futureshop, afterall they're of the same company or owned by the same people.

Staples: I'm surprised the local Staples store has quite a number of Adventure games. I can find most popular titles at the store. They also have a clearance section where games goes for 50% off. I can see Dreamfall on clearance now.

Orchid girl - Amazon.ca is good but the problem with them is they sell a title for a limited period of time only. Say if you decide to buy the Adventure Collection Vol 1 or Black Mirror now, you will not be able to buy it from Amazon.ca. The same goes for movies or music, I have problems getting old titles from Amazon.ca. If I want some title, I will need to buy it early before Amazon.ca retires them from their stock.
