After playing DC 2 for awhile, I quit the game at level 15. I came back to the game later and it started me at the beginning. I did not see anyway to save (most BF games save themselves and start you where you left off). I can see that I am at level 15 when I click the book to open the map and see the 15 circled and glowing. I tried clicking on that 15 to go there to start the game and nothing happens. Has anyone else had this problem? Did I do something wrong? I have written BF and awaiting their answer. Thanks for any insight on this problem.

Are you sure you didn't hit new game? I had no troubles with saving, nor do I recall any complaints. Let me run mine again and see if I see anything you may be clicking on to start it off at the beginning. Ana

DC2 Players, I am at Level 21 again. I haven't had any problems with saving either. But I am having a problem with beating The Chessboard Puzzle. I think I am going to have to breakdown and ask if anyone has a save that I can have to get past the Chessboard, I tried diagraming the board but it's just a bit too fast. Junior Boomer ROXX
EDIT: HUH? Did I just graduate to Shy Boomer???

Sorry Roxx, I am afraid no one has yet come up with a way to transfer a save on this game. The only game we can do saves on is Sherlock: Persian Carpet. The suggestions to pass this included taping Saran wrap on your monitor and marking it. Jachern....you have me stumped. I loaded mine back up and can't see any reason. I hope BigFish can shed some light on it. Ana

Hey Brown Eyed Tigre Pleased to meet you, Rushes, our new Mod, sent me a save to Persian Carpet, OK, I am learning...I assumed you could do this with all games...I don't always want the easy way out, but there are times... Tape Saran wrap to the monitor??? That's funny, no not funny, ingenious, someone is determined, an inspiration for sure... I think I just might try it, I'll let you know...thank you so much for the help...ROXX EDIT: L4L back to you ROXX

Ana and Roxx, Thanks for your posts and thoughts.
BF just emailed me that my save file must be corrupted so I am going to uninstall and reinstall the game and see if that helps.

Hey Jachern - If uninstalling and re-installing doesn't work, try just deleting your profile. Uninstalling and re-installing is always a good first step, but this is one of those games that keeps its save files remote, meaning that uninstalling and re-installing won't delete your profile. After re-installing, try going into Change Player (or Change Profile, I can't remember) and choose to create a new profile of a different name and delete the previous one. I hope that helps!

Thank you L4L and Little Red--The uninstalling and reinstalling did work! Yeah! I still had to start over, but that is ok because I love the artwork. I will change the profile on another game though. That is a good idea.
