I cannot pick up the "y-shaped twig with some pebbles". I can use the eye glass icon to get close but after that the two colored gears come up. Where do I get the pebbles from? Got the eye glasses with the elastic attachment in inventory but no pebbles.
Tried to combine the eye glasses with the stick and no luck.
What am I doing wrong?

rabosr, to pick it up, you need the shoe horn that you can find in Anders Borg's Apartment near the entry door.

Examine the eye glasses in your inventory by right-clicking on them, perhaps you'll be able to separate the elastic.
