I am on the first case with the dead body on the river. I am in the apartment looking at the picaso painting that you have to put the handle from the nightstand in a certain position. I have looked on the walkthrough and know that I am putting it in the right spot; but for some reson it is not staying in the right position. Any suggestions on how to do this part?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its been awhile since I played the game and wrote the WT, did you click the handle on one hole, then move the handle to click the second hole?

I have trid clicking it everywhere on the picture. I will try this tactic and come back to confirm whether or not it works.

It will not set itself into any hole. I have been clicking it on every hole, but the hand icon never disappears and the handle still moves around when I move my mouse. I don't understand this, is it maybe a glitch or a bug in the game?

alright now I am irritated beyond belief. I can not get anything to work. I have tried the patches, I have tried another game site that had a zip file to download to fix the problem, but that doesn't work either. I know this is an older game, but if someone has a saved game that is after the handle puzzle and could possibly send it to me that would be great.

This game is very buggy. Some people have gotten a bunch of handles when trying to do this part. All I can suggest is keep trying, maybe one of the clicks will kick in.
