I am trying to climb the stairs to get to the weapons room and for some reason I can't climb the stairs. Help!!

I had a hard time at that same spot. It's just a matter of getting the position right. Try moving him around. I don't remember the exact spot where he would go up, but he eventually did.

Hope it works. You can try getting a running start too--or if you are already running, then go back to walking and vary how far away from the stairs you are when you try.

Also, can you look down at your feet?

Make absolutely sure that you are at the stairs to the weapons room, and not standing at a different set of stairs. Double check the walkthrough, replay a small section again if necessary. You shouldn't have such difficulty climbing the correct stairs.

Rushes, I was at the right stairs, but it took forever and lots of fiddling to get him up those stairs

I cannot for the life of me climb the stairs to get to the weapon's room. Spoilers are welcomed.

I have no tips but if you'll send me your save, I'll take a look at your game. Are you playing the CD or DVD version?

I am playing the cd version. How do I send you the saved game?

TO SEND A SAVED GAME:

Find the save in your game folder
Right-click on the save
On the menu that comes up, put your cursor on “send to”
On the next menu, left-click on “mail recipient”
You should now have an e-mail with the save as an attachment – just put in the address and send…

You'll find my email address by going to my profile, click on my name to get there.

There are 2 stairs that are similar to each other on that wall. Try both sets of stairs. I think the one you need is the one closest to the main gate.

I am at the part of the game where you match the shields with the weapon that corresponds to the shield. What weapon matches the Lancelot shield and what weapon matches the Lamorak shield?

The sword and morning star are held by the suits of armour on the opposite wall of the Weapons room.

From the WT,

Click each spear on the rack right of the fireplace. You can take only one weapon at a time.

He identifies all of them (left to right): man catcher, Lucerne hammer, halberd, gisarme (resemble a porchard), partisan, bardiche, crow's beak and spear (glaive).

Go to the suit of armors on the other wall. Click on the weapon held by the left suit of armor; it is a morning star. The right suit of armor holds a sword.
