I can't get any work done on the statue. I do not have the 1.004 version. Can Margie help me? Will I lose all my work up to this point?

Hi Teddo, I just saw your message,to answer your question downloading the game again should not make you lose your progress.

Here's the link for VV3 version 1.004

Read whatever the post says and then scroll down for the link to the patch. If you bought the game from anyone else besides Last Day of Work, then you need to contact them and see if they have the updated version. My understanding is that BFG has the correct version. If you bought form BFG you just need to download again.

Good Luck and let me know if you need help with anything else.

Thanks, Margie. I bought from Last Day of Work. It's now downloaded. However, I can't get any action on the statue. I've met all requirements to begin. I guess I'll just keep fiddling around. Thanks again. Teddo

Hey Teddo,

Can you tell me what kind of specific problems are you having with the statue? Maybe I could help if I know what's wrong.

Thanks, Margie

Margie ---Hooray!!! I finally got both tribes going. The Master Builders in both tribes decided to build scaffolding instead of going to look at the fishies. Thanks for all your help and interest. Teddo

I'm totally ignorant when it comes to computer programming. I've been playing on "fast" for specified periods of time and monitoring the progress. It's amazing to me to watch that statue move up the hill. One tribe only has 6 hours left. I've had a problem with Chiefs dying on me in the process. Who cares? It's a real adventure. Loving this game. Love, Teddo

I just finished my free hour of the first game. I left a couple villagers trained in forging, a master doctor (I took a chance on a red liquid and got a doctor, a trainee construction worker and mother carrying for a baby. Is the game still having things happen to them even though I can't enter the game again until I buy it?

If your free hour has been used, I doubt anything more will happen until you buy the game.

Might still be playing. Doesn't stop unless you put it on pause. Just hope you don't run out of food.

I just bought it. It kept going while I was away. And there was a double tragedy. My chief scientist and a child I hadn't even met yet died.

Is there a way to get these people to bury the dead? Can't be good to have decomposing bodies in the middle of the village.

They will usually do it. If not, just place one of the villagers on the skeleton.

Guybrush - Usually your Master Doctor will rush to the body and bury it. If not, it will eventually disappear. At that point, a tombstone will appear, stating name, age and cause of death.
If you know why your little folks are dying, you can always start again, having more knowledge of caring for them and also using the pause button while you're away. I had a whole village die of starvation when I first started playing VV#1. I just started again, and put my new knowledge to work. With time, you'll learn to love these little things. Teddo

Yes, I remember that. Don't worry' it's not a real threat.

I have a strange problem in VV3. The statue is up. All requirements are filled. My Master Builder carried rough pearl to the waterfall. When my Chief tries to pick it up to polish it, I'm told this villager doesn't have the requirements to do so. I didn't have that problem with my other tribe. Any help?

Teddo, have you tried having the Master Builder pick it up and have the chief take if from him?

After I raised spirituality to level 2 they eventually built a cemetary but I had to tell Master Doctor to bury one of the dead. The builder buried one on her own.

Now I have a school but won't be any use until another death. Someone please tell the writers that 50 is not elderly. (I'm 44 myself).

Edit: Darn another death, only 57. Too young to die.

I don't know what I've done wrong but my poor village is doomed. All my best people (Master Scientists, Master Doctor, Master Farmer, Adept Builder) are dead, including all my adult males. Fortunately one of them left a son but he's only 2 so currently useless.
